Hunting, Learning more Techniques

Leon looked at the injured cheetah with a squinted gaze. Although he didn't use the yellow chakra from the Divine Core rune, his power was still terrifying even without it.

"Let's try it." He jumped from a tree and landed on the ground with a flip,

only to be attacked by a snake that flung toward him at a terrifying speed, its jaws wide open.

Leon's shoulders slumped as he caught the snake, firmly holding it in place.

"This guy is weak." He casually shrugged his shoulder, tightened his grip on the snake, and walked forward toward the cheetah.

He withdrew the bloody spear, but at that moment, the cheetah lunged at him.

Leon was expressionless, his breathing calm and controlled as he rolled on the ground, dodging the cheetah by a hair's breadth.

Then he stomped the ground casually, causing the cheetah to lose its balance before punching it in the face without mercy, flinging it several steps back.

"Rawr!"

"Roar!" Leon roared back even louder, his bloodthirst rising as he lunged at the cheetah with even greater ferocity, easily catching its front paws.

Veins started to bulge in his hands, and his face turned red as he applied all his strength and flipped the animal.

With unnatural grace, the cheetah twisted in the air, landing agilely before swiftly backing away and climbing a large tree by itself.

Leon took back his spear, aiming it as he walked forward as if about to throw it. The cheetah was already prepared to escape, its eyes narrowed, muscles tensed.

Midway, Leon's speed suddenly surged as he swiped his spear and thrust multiple times with controlled breathing.

The cheetah tried to escape, but its already injured shoulder acted up, slowing its reaction. A streaking thrust landed on its hind legs, shattering the trees behind it.

Bang! Bang!

Leon's movements were strong and agile, filled with power. As the injuries accumulated on the cheetah, it finally collapsed with a final cry and fainted on the spot.

Then, he clumsily began dismantling its skin, layer by layer. It was a nauseating experience, but surviving in the jungle required such skills.

The animals in this world were naturally different from those in his previous world—not only in size but also in vitality. They were extremely resilient. For example, this cheetah—if it were ordinary people hunting it, it would take at least five experienced hunters to bring it down.

Suddenly, he felt a warm hand pat his head.

"Well done, son."

"Thank you, Father."

They returned with their haul after Alex had also hunted another cheetah. This place was quite suitable for them to thrive, as it was a grassy plain.

After returning, they cooked and ate some meat, traded a portion with the villagers, and set aside the rest for later days.

"Father, I have already mastered the Tyrant Emperor, so could you please teach me other methods?" Leon looked up with a smile.

"Okay."

Alex nodded without much emotion. From watching him hunt, he already knew that his son had mastered it and could even incorporate the technique he had given him previously.

Remembering the days of bitter training, how it had taken him a whole ten years to master it, Alex felt a pang of bitterness and despair.

'My son will be a true monster in the future. Maybe he could even compete with those Sages.'

A mix of pride swelled in his heart as he swiftly began teaching Leon all his techniques.

The first technique was "Willow Step"—a footwork technique that allowed a warrior to be as light as a feather. It could slow their descent when falling and increase their agility to the point where they could step on an enemy's sword.

The second technique was "Monkey's Dance"—instead of focusing on lightness, it emphasized nimbleness and an erratic form that could quickly confuse the enemy.

The third and final technique was "Flaming Wheel"—a skill that allowed a warrior to rotate any long weapon fast enough to generate heat through mere friction.

The last technique was the most complex and significantly more difficult, it could only be completed if one used Natural Energy. Even Alex had reservations about teaching it, but since Leon insisted, he relented and passed it on nonetheless.

Feeling happy, Leon walked into his room and quickly began practicing the techniques. Naturally, he had his own thoughts in mind and wondered if the last technique could also be completed using yellow chakra.

With the looming deadline pressing on him, Leon felt motivated and entered seclusion.

Half a year passed swiftly, and he had successfully mastered all three techniques. However, incorporating them into the Limitless Tyranny technique was naturally impossible within such a short time—it would take much longer.

Incorporating a single technique took him a week or more, but after that, the difficulty increased more than tenfold. He had barely managed to integrate Willow Step into it, but if he tried using it alongside his other techniques, his body wouldn't be able to withstand the strain.

"Sigh, it's difficult." Leon lamented as he stood up, took his steel spear, and controlled his breathing.

Gradually, veins bulge across his body as a surge of energy coursed through him. He began rotating the spear, faster and faster, until even its silhouette disappeared, appearing as nothing more than a blurred circle.

Hup!

Leon infused his yellow chakra, syncing it with his breath.

A dim fire flickered along the spear's edge, growing larger with each passing second. However, within moments, his yellow chakra was completely drained, and he slumped to the ground.

"Sigh, I need to find a way to increase my reserve."

He circulated his orange chakra to calm his mind and refocus. Sitting cross-legged, he shifted to red chakra, deepening his connection to the Earth.

Leon had a feeling that all of this would be resolved if he could complete the trial, but until then, he needed to do everything possible to strengthen himself.

Time passed in the blink of an eye, and only a month remained on the system countdown.
