Sorcerers

Although it would put a strain on his body if he incorporated more than two techniques, using the Limitless Tyranny with Willow Steps, that allows the body to be as light as feather was the perfect situation he could use.

Clap-clap!

"Excellent." the man smiled heartily while curling his goatee: "Wonderful moves."

Leon glanced at the man and focused on the mammoth, it still had bloodshot eyes but luckily it seems it was tired and no longer had the vigour like previously.

Its eyes were dropping as if it was going to go to sleep at any moment and Leon could feel its struggle waning before long it fell, leaning on the trees.

The moment it did that, the trees started to bend unnaturally, barely holding on to the weight of the Mammoth before it could finally settle down.

Leon walked forward from its tusk, to its eyes, the big, sunny smile of his reflected through the eyes of the Mammoth.

"I don't care if you have grievances with humans or not but you must give us a ride today, okay?"

"Snore!"

The Mammoth snorted then hesitantly nodded its head.

"Good." Ray jumped and landed on it's back, then he bowed towards them:

"My lord, can you jump up now or do you need my help?"

"No need." The man with a goatee shook his head and lightly jumped from the ground, swiftly landing on the back of the Mammoth.

"Let's go then."

"Alright." he squinted his gaze.

Leon rubbed it's back and the mammoth started to slowly walk towards and entered the river, well it should be said that because the river actually barely covered it's knees so was the Mammoth in on the river or the river on the Mammoth?

Shaking his head, Leon continued to guide the Mammoth, while the Goatee man was smirking behind him:

"Kid, aren't you interested in my identity?"

"I don't care." Leon shook his head, he truly didn't care with a month left, all his mind was focused on improving his strength.

"You are truly a peculiar brat, are you truly just barely twelve?"

Leon raised his brows, looked at the man with astonishment in his face, his face was coloured with surprise that he didn't conceal.

"Hehe, are you curious now?"

The goatee man smirked.

Leon paused and looked ahead:

"No."

"You are a really brave young man, would you be interested in-?"

Before he could speak further, a small ball streaked through the air and appeared between the two.

The goatee man's expression turned cold as he took his long curved saber and slashed down.

Boom!

Clouds surrounded them as the Mammoths cry of pain resounded through the surrounding.

"Some people have become really daring huh."

The man's mocking tone sounded as he soared through the air, like a shadow vanishing into the depths. The soldiers also quickly followed him:

"His majesty has been attacked, we must do our best to protect him."

Leon upon hearing the voices felt his ears twitch. The smoke slowly revealed him, looking at all this with narrowed eyes.

"Is he really the new king?"

He thought in his heart with strange emotion surging within him, there wasn't much hatred for this person.

Leon had barely met the previous king even if he was technically half his grandpa there was naturally no interaction between them.

While looking at their fleeting back, he sighed and patted the Mammoth, however before he could take another breath, a small ball of fire shot towards him.

Using his sharp senses, Leon was naturally able to detect it and immediately jumped from the mammoth gracefully landing on the river bedside.

"Who are you? Come out."

He stomped with his spear, causing the ground to rumble and dust to be raised.

Vines spurted from the ground trying to bind him however Leon was undeterred and nimbly moved, dodging all of them and running forward.

His eyes closed and he tried to sense his surroundings more.

Faintly he could hear the breathing of two life forces, hidden in the trees. Their weary gazes faintly could be discerned.

"I wouldn't have cared even if you wanted to assassinate the king but if you want to implicate me nonetheless then I won't be merciful."

Leon took a deep controlled breath and burst out with all his strength, walking with the nimbleness of a monkey.

Monkey's Dance!

Although it didn't make you lightless however it couldn't be underestimated, his speed along with unpredictability in his movement was what made this technique so great.

Countless attacks showed him but he calmly, like dancing, dodged all this attack and made his way to the sounds of breath.

"Got you."

He stabbed the moment he arrived but was stunned to find that there was no one.

A globe of fire, the size of ten footballs heat his back, launching him in the air and landing on the trees.

The trees became a living thing and its branches strangled his body.

Blood continuously gushed out of his mouth, dyeing the ground in the colour of red.

"How?"

"Hehe, kid, you warriors rely too much on senses as long as we provide you the illusion towards us."

Two men revealed themselves with identical faces and two ponytails tied in her hair. They looked sturdy and strong while carrying a wooden staff in their right hand.

Leon raised his head and looked towards the ground:

"I see, I was careless."

"Hehe, now die obediently brat, there is nothing you could do."

"Really?" Leon asked as he tried to stand up but the vines were stronger even though it produced the sound of breaking, it couldn't actually be torn so easily.

He sat back down and looked at the two:

"I am already a passerby to begin with, we have no grievance with each other, why do you want to persecute me?"

"You guys are inferior humans who don't have a single brain, every person in this kingdom is our enemy," the left man said with a snicker: "Your death is nothing but an ambition of ours to rule this world."

"I see, then die."

"Huh?"
