The panels of notification buzzed in the air.

As Arvian read the system activation notification, his eyes widened in disbelief. A surge of excitement coursed through him, and though he kept his composure, in his mind, he was practically jumping with joy.

'I can't believe this... A system! In this world?! Impressive...impressive, this is what I always wanted; the main character, you are done: 'I'm coming and rewrite your whole story..' he thought.

Meanwhile, ahead of him, Dareth walked with a cold, calculated demeanour, his steps echoing light through the narrow cave path.

His focus seemed distant, lost in his own thoughts as if the surroundings meant nothing to him.

Arvian intsantly clicked on to check his profile status.

"I'm weak—"

"Auahu!!!"

Arvian was so lost in reading his profile status that he failed to notice the stone ahead. He collided with it, his body jerking uncontrollably before he fell to the ground.

"Ouch!"

His head thudded against the stone floor with a painful impact, and he groaned, rubbing his forehead.

Dareth, who had been walking ahead, turned sharply at the noise. He gave a brief and amused laugh as he watched Arvian Struggle.

"Haha," Dareth chuckled, a smirk playing on his lips. "Careful, you might want to pay more attention to where you're going."

"O-ah, Yeah I will be careful."

Arvian felt pain, but there was nothing he could do. He needed to bear it.

He stood up, and for now, he had to control his feelings and excitement because he might create big trouble for him.

Both of them walked through the narrow and rough path, Arvian unaware where they were going, Dareth still coldly walking ahead of him.

As they stepped into a vast and glowing chamber, the air thick with a strange energy, Dareth finally spoke, his voice low but steady.

"Here is where you will enter the Nyxian Trial; let me give some advice, don't get afraid as the monster appears; this trial is not meant for you to win and get exclusive rewards, but the only reason for this trial is to awaken the bloodline hidden power—Nyxian form."

"And listen, after defeating the monsters, you need to go ahead through the tunnel and touch the crystal, which will be floating in the air." Dareth continued.

"Ah, I will keep that in my mind, but when will I have to go to trial."

"Just wait," Dareth responded and walked close to the wall and put his right hand in the middle at a specific point.

Suddenly, the wall began to glow with Dareth's right hand, a strange energy pulsing from it. Arvian felt a surge of power as dark, ethereal smoke spiralled from the wall, coalescing into a large, glowing rectangle in the centre of the chamber.

The air grew heavier, the temperature dropping as if the energy itself was manifesting in physical form.

Dareth turned back and walked toward Arvian and uttered.

"The trial may be a bit longer. You just need to stay in this rectanglur energy and you will be in the trial. Well Good luck, I will be waiting."

As Arvian stood there, the energy surrounding him felt heavy, almost suffocating. His eyelids grew heavier with each passing second, and the once sharp clarity in his mind began to fade.

His body felt like it was losing its strength, as though it was being drained. Despite trying to resist, his vision blurred, and the darkness overcame him.

The last thing he saw before completely losing consciousness was the swirling, ominous energy around him. Then, everything went black.

He suddenly found himself in a blue-glowing dungeon-type cave, but it was large, and the first cave with walls glowing.

There were no traces that this was a monstrous dungeon as it was such a beautiful and glowing-like flower garden.

"Wow, what a beautiful cave, but either way, I have mostly read in the novels that the more captivating cave or dungeon is, the more dangerous it is."

He walked a few feet ahead, and all of a sudden, the environment changed into a bloody-mountain-type large cave. The beautiful glowing walls, stones, and flowers all faded in a moment.

The cave turned into a top of a mountain.

Now the surroundings were drenched in blood; the ground, the trees, the stones, and even the sky appeared red.

And all of a sudden, the glowing screen materialized in mid-air.

'Huh! Well, it is easy peas—'

Arvian thought was interrupted by the noises of the harrowing monsters that surrounded him completely; they were numerous.

'I'm done...'

Out of nowhere,e one of the monsters ran toward Arvian from the left side with a ruthless roar.
