chapter 19: Meeting the world tree

Kairos focused his mind as his mana slowly started infusing Within her. Just like how one person can gave his mana to another. Kairos was doing just that.

His mana circulating within her body before going through her hand reaching right at the diagram on the leather.

The engravings on it started glowing. Before a series of sigils appeared before twisting like a string of vines and slowly circled around her hand all the way to her shoulder.

Meanwhile, Kairos consciousness slowly swipt in. Surroundings him was green endless land that glowed with storage white mist.

Infront of him stood a collasial giant tree. Gazing the very clouds. Kairos started walking getting closer before stoping.

From the center the trees body. White light particles started gather before a small ball of light was formed it slowly started heading towards him.

Kairos become nervous as this was the moment. He never had intialy planed to do this this early but after the discovery of his fathers identity his plans has changed.

"Interesting, Are you the one who call for me?"

A sweet voice entered his mind. Kairos know who did the voice belongs to. It was from the white orb or to say, The world tree itself.

Throughout the ages, Many have tried increasing the effect of the tree using all kinds of enchantments sigils but everyone failed. And the reason was simple, The world tree itself didn't allowed it.

But after the forcefield breaking through and the dark age began. The world tree itself had fallen down. And afterwards, as the absent of the world tree the seed or the fruits were modified as much as they could enchanting it.

But now, As it exists, the only way for it to work is to get permission from the very being that it belongs to, The world tree itself.

Kairos bowed down in respect. " Yes, I have call upon you" Kairos spoke waited patiently for it to response.

It didn't respond for couple seconds. And circled around his body.

" That's a interesting way to summon me. But aren't you afraid of my warth?"

Kairos was ready for it's response and spoke up. " Of course I'm. Senior, But for the sake of Nimara valindis I had to"

"Hmm, I see. So that child is still here.." it spoke it's voice soften a bit, As she was the one who choosen her to serve under her.

And that's not also the thing, Kairos know of a history that the others didn't know. Her master was betrayed by the very Elvin kingdom! And it's unlikely the world didn't know of this.

It stayed quit for few minutes. Before speaking, " What do you want me to do. Child?"

Kairos put his gaze upwards towards it." Please rejuvenate her body to it's peak"

When someone gone through such rejuvenation, Ones body started healing rapidly reaching it's peak where it had it's best optimal combat form. In simple terms, It can make one younger. Rejuvenation, that happens only around the time when a being has reached the 7th circle or a beast has reached the point where it's core had started to multiply. And there was another way only few knows of and the the being that could do it was right Infront of him.

"Rejuvenation, I see.I can do that. But my child there are many beings who are indeed of such thing. And doing so will make me Produce on less fruit in next cycle"

Kairos was prepared for such thing. And spoke up " Senior please think of it repaying the favor the Elvin kingdom has bestown upon him"

As the words fell, The atmosphere become silent. The glowing white orb didn't move nor did it spoke for next few seconds.

It didn't had eyes, But Kairos could feel it's intense gaze was right at him.

" What if I don't?"

Kairos looked at it. " I will big up the old things that happened and give justice to her"

Kairos spoke with a serious gazed. If any other person had heard that they all will be gone mad. As the thing was right infront of him wasn't thing that had lived since the beginning of the time! Also the thing that's roots been spread all over the world. With a simple thoughts of it anywhere of the continent it can turn a riched green land into a wasteland in just few hours completely destroying the cities and empires.

The silence lasted for next couple seconds before it turned around slowly heading towards the tree.

Meanwhile, The space around Kairos distorted and he become conscious again.

" Did it fail?" Kairos's thought as his heart felt pain. He didn't have that of a high expectations but still he has hopes of it working out.

"Fight for justice?" That was just a bluff. As even he did achieved such thing it won't matter. Because his master was nearing her end.

"It's ok child. No need to be sad" Grandma nimaras voice came. Making Kairos took another sigh. His heart felt burdened again despite being getting a another chance, He wouldn't still be able to save her.
