With shadows shrouding her face, Opal shook her head. At first, she shook slowly, but then as more time passed, she began shaking very quickly, seemingly becoming more emotional the faster she shook. Tears once again started to fall, her mind in utter turmoil.

However, before she could spiral any further, that same warm hand landed on her soft bed of white hair. A soothing energy seeped out of that hand, doing well to calm her mind and keep her emotions under control.

"Quit stressing," Cassius said. "I don't know why you and those other girls always do that. But anyway, I can handle a few minor villains. They likely won't even be capable of withstanding a single punch."

Opal pulled away from him in a hurry. She grabbed her pencil and wrote something on the piece of paper.

"You promise?" Cassius read, urging his smile to widen. "I promise," he said, sticking out his right pinky finger. "Wanna pinky promise swear on it?"
