After a well-lived life on Earth, Kael never expected anything more than death and the sweet embrace of sleep and darkness.

But fate had other plans. He was reborn in another world similar to Earth, where he grew up until he was ten, at which point his memories from his past life were reawakened.

He was an old man trapped in a boy's body, but the mixture of the child's memories with his own made him feel more middle-aged than old.

A few days later, the world he was in ascended into the realm of war, the battleground of all living beings. Kael was among the few awakened who had the chance to become the ultimate god of existence, based on the orbs of different paths presented before him.

Kael was faced with three choices:

Orb of Nothingness

Orb of Void

Triune: The broken path

Kael watched as the giant snake left its abode. Its massive body slithered forward, moving with surprising speed. Within seconds, it disappeared beyond the horizon. Kael felt a tingling sensation across his body. Back on Earth, it was common knowledge that the larger a snake, the slower it moved—but that clearly didn't apply to this one.

Pulling back slightly, Kael scanned his surroundings. After confirming there were no fierce beasts nearby, he activated his Oblivion Body. Instantly, his presence vanished. His body blended into the darkness, his aura completely erased. His eyes, now resembling endless voids of devouring darkness, seemed like abysses that could never be filled. His strength surged as he disappeared from sight.

Before him lay an egg—massive, nearly five meters in diameter. Kael was stunned, his gaze fixed on it. A deep, rhythmic heartbeat echoed from within.
