As dinner went on, Melody and Damian just watched the mother and daughter acting as if they had known each other since forever. No one would see them now and think that they just got to know each other, and Melody was already thinking of throwing every test she had prepared for Anna out the window.

She was perfect, and Pearl seemed to really like her, too.

"What do you think?" She leaned towards Damian and asked.

Damian was silent, and when she didn't hear him speak after a while, she looked at him and found him still looking at the two who seemed to be in a world of their own.

"Damian?" She called, and he looked at her. At her voice rising a little to get his attention back to herself, Anna and Pearl stopped for a moment before their chatter resumed again when they saw that nothing was wrong.

"I am sorry I dazed out," he apologized. Melody only smiled and nodded at him.
