As I soared through the vastness of space, the moon in front of me grew larger and larger with every passing second. The darkness of the cosmos stretched endlessly around me, interrupted only by the distant twinkling of far-off stars. It was both mesmerizing and a little eerie. And with no air resistance or gravity to slow me down, I just kept flying forward, like cruising in a plane—smooth, with no wind or force pushing against me.
Eventually, not long after—

I slammed into the moon's desolate surface, my landing sending up a cloud of dust that quickly settled around me. I stood where I am for a moment, absorbing the alien landscape. The gray, barren ground stretched out before me, craters scattered across the surface like pockmarks on an old face.
