A Skill Page for Reap Ghosts
Having to extract Ghosts and make them your summon was a bright idea. Now imagining all his past enemy bosses he could collect, he already had plans to visit them.
The feeling was a first time for him, even with all the play through of his past characters, it was indeed a first. He was smiling and almost wanted to drool with just the idea.
Looking back from his past, he was already having a teary eyes. His hardships and the loved ones that died as he failed to save them. All in all coming back.
As he remembered, he could not save the female lead in the past. Making him regret it as it was a failure in his part. Even with the game was finished, he was still unhappy without her. With that, he vowed to protect her this time around.
He was patted by Merlin in the back and his drifting thoughts was shattered. He immediately came back to reality.
"Thanks Merlin, I am fine." He wiped his tears and then went back to the camp.
The deathly and swerving road was now safe and some guards already made some checkpoints with tents as to assure the safety of the travellers. As per the game system was, it was a norm to make outposts out of the places that was liberated by the MC of the game.
Though as Kenji have observed, there were players that were stuck here too. Such as the Groups that were made. One of the strongest was the Legion in which fought in the grand line of the war against the demons after the World Soul barrier was destroyed by Demon Gods or Outer Gods.
They craved for the essence of the World Soul and it would make them into Higher Gods. Such timeline was still impossible for Kenji to stop. Even with the help of Immortals which were the group that helped stop the destruction and liberation of this world.
They would become slaves of the outer Gods in that case. And the world would be doomed.
They arrived at the Camp entrance and then were greeted by the guards. The feeling of being looked down has disappeared. And they felt that they were successful in their attempt as they saw them having an ambiance of being stronger than before. Their level rose too as indicated.
They went back to Amara and then saw her ignited as she saw them back in one piece. They greeted her with renewed feeling. After they approached, they felt their Health, Stamina, and, Mana went back to its fullest.
"Ah, thanks," Kenji muttered and Amara chuckled, "It's normal, by the way, I thank you two for conquering the Cavern of Evil. Here is the reward of your mission. A skill page that you can put to the skill of your choice."
She gave them one each and Kenji ripped it apart making him earn a skill point.
He immediately put it to his skill tree which was a Reaper skill. The Reap Ghost. Now for his new mission, he could finally have Job Classed Shadow Lords. He intend to collect all Heroes or Villains that were enemy bosses or corrupted by the Hell General Abadon.
The Three Primordial Evils had their Generals scattered in this war and they already begun conquering the lands.
Starting from the Citadel of Light.
Then Amara immediately spoke while Kenji was drifting from his thoughts, "I am happy that you have vanquished the evil within that cave. But there are more problems that had arise. There were 3 heroes in the past that fought the Hell General Abadon. But after they killed him, all of them are corrupted. Even in their deaths, they served as the minions of the Hell General.
"I plead to kill them and make their soul purified. I will give another skill page for that." Amara nearly cried. As the Lore of this game was announced. They were her three children that fought the evils and killed the enemy General.
"They were corrupted and they came writhing in pain added with sleepless nights. To think that they were fighting the voices in their heads for many days now and soon after, the three gave up and killed themselves by hanging on a tree.
"But even their deaths were not able to fight the voices and their struggles, they rose again just to become minions of the enemy. Came slaughtering and fled."
Kenji was troubled for her, for her loss and then offered his sympathy.
"We will kill them and purify their soul as promised. I can try." Kenji was still wondering. He could make them as Shadow Lords right? With that in mind, he was more excited than before.
In his memories, they were a band of heroes that were a Swordsman, a Ranger, and, a Mage. He could also add more as more corrupted heroes and villains that will be met sooner or later.
With that, he wanted to laugh sinisterly but would destroy the moment of Amara in which was still weeping for her children. It would be a bad joke for her to do that way.
With the mission added, they first went to the Necromancer Lux and entered his tent. Seeing him, they were immediately welcomed.
"Oh, you will pay the debt?" I can feel that you already have the money with those smiling faces." He spoke to them.
"Yes indeed! Hahaha." Kenji then chuckled with hands on waist.
"With that, the contract is now null and void." He lighted the contract paper with a candle on the side and burned slowly.
Meanwhile, Lux observed Kenji and was surprised, "Level 4? Wow I am impressed!"
"Ah, yes," Kenji was also surprised. Normally if not a Wisely, he would be on level 2 now. But with his Wisely talent, then he was now level 4. To think that it was this useful. He could not imagine his growth. But for now it was fast. He could not await to become level 5 as new skills would get released. With that, they immediately left to the next mission. Which was the Corrupted Heroes.
With that, Kenji watched the Skill Reap Ghosts and its details.
