Blood magic

. The moment we drove in, I was hooked. I'm a freak for designs, probably due to the fact that I'm an illustrator. And this building was a masterpiece. I couldn't help but appreciate the intricate details with my eyes.

As an introvert, I wasn't familiar with many places. I wondered how Ade had discovered it, especially given his current condition the place looked incredibly exotic. I knew Ade had money, but this was on a whole different level.

"Madam," The driver said in his thick Nigerian accent, jolting me out of my thoughts.

"Oh, yes yes" I mumbled, stirring from my thoughts. I carefully retrieved the flower I had purchased for Ade and got out of the vehicle.

I smoothed the nonexistent wrinkles on my blouse as I stood by the restaurant entrance, mentally preparing myself to face Ade.
