Awakening of the Scheming Wife

Helena raised an eyebrow. [Oh? Interesting!]

Vernon looked at her. What is interesting? He did not understand.

[I thought she is just another b*tch trying to seduce Vernon by acting like a white lotus. Looks like she is on the offensive side, huh?]

Vernon blinked his eyes when he heard her thoughts. 'Huh? Pearl was seducing me? Was that what's happening here?' He was dumbfounded.

He felt that her words were weird when she talked to Helena but before that he did not notice any of such intentions from Pearl. She had always acted professionally in front of him.

With this sudden piece of news, he started recalling all the incidents when he met Pearl. He tried to recall all their interactions carefully but sadly he couldn't remember them at all.
