He'd never heard of guardian mechas perishing like this, but there was always a first for everything—Like this open attempted murder that was being done in broad daylight with the chirping of the birds as a background.

Sid never thought that his master would end up like this. But his permissions still hadn't been returned to normal, and all he could do was dread the outcome. The poor mecha even wanted to cover his eyes, but even that was impossible.

He watched as one of the two shorties held out a menacing frying pan above his master's head.

"Ollie, is it going to be okay after you do that? Wouldn't that be too much?" Luca asked, wondering if it was okay to resort to this method.

"I just got him to take responsibility for me earlier. What if it's too much this time?" He couldn't imagine having to answer for another egg on his head, and their contract did say that they must protect each other.
