When the Duke eventually calmed down, or well, looked calm enough, they decided to bring him into the space.

It was just that everyone else looked like they weren't about to let the Duke be abducted as well.

Kyle knew it was because they were still suspects in Luca's disappearance and could understand why they looked murderous.

"Your Grace, we don't want to make decisions for anyone, so we must inform you that where we're going is vital to your son." Kyle looked serious as he stared at everyone like he was far older. Right now, he actually felt that way.

"And if there's anyone who has even a sliver of uncertainty about their loyalty to him, he might be in danger."

The-'Abducted and never to see the light of day'-kind. Kyle thought as he tried to explain why they couldn't just drag in anyone.

The Duke's eyes narrowed at the mention of 'danger,' but the people of the House of Kyros were resolute.
