Lily witnessed in person what it meant to be domineering.
At the start of the war, the devils suffered a surprise attack by armies of mixed races—consisting of humans and angels. Who knew how many kingdoms these armies were affiliated with? The devils were at a great disadvantage, especially since Brand was even stronger than Adounis.
But as soon as Shyvva appeared, that initial advantage no longer mattered.
Shyvva, still in human form, released his wings and flew over twenty feet high above the ground. Then, with a lazy wave of his two large wings, he created wind blades that had a homing effect as it chased after the angels and humans.
It dodged the devils as if it knew they weren't the enemies.
Thousands of screams of agony and bloodcurdling curses filled the now desert-looking city. The greyish sand—left by pulverized debris—was soaked with the deep color of blood.
Shyvva maintained an indifferent look throughout the ordeal. He was not disturbed by the flood of blood he was creating. Only when a splash of it nearly dirtied his precious robe—after he had failed to dodge—did he finally show a reaction of disgust.
It only took him a few minutes to wipe out the angels and humans.
Just a few minutes.
However, to the people gawking at this inhumane display of strength, it felt as though a few years were shaved off their lives. Some of them literally aged. Shivers ran up their spines as they vowed not to offend this dragon. While the devils felt fear, they were also swelling with pride.
This dragon was unexpectedly their prince's friend!
Lily had seen all kinds of people. Shyvva was neither the first nor the worst to take thousands of lives without batting an eye. Yet she was still amused. Every time she encountered someone like Shyvva, she couldn't help but see a spitting image of her master.
Speaking of Sevianna, she had really gone overboard this time. She had used a large amount of power to travel from the castle to the borders in just a few hours, a journey that would normally have taken her about three days. Then, she had relentlessly used the last of her magic to heal Adounis.
She regretted nothing, but her body was now incredibly weak.
Sevianna was completely immobile while she leaned on Adounis' embrace. She had not dared to enter deep sleep in fear that Brand—the potential protagonist of the world—might have other tricks right up his sleeve. She was asleep, but if Adounis softly called for her, she would have definitely woken up.
Adounis left the aftermath of the fight to the generals and marshals who "graciously" volunteered. While he ignored their twitching mouths after he ordered them to rebuild the city, he strode towards Shyvva.
Shyvva had turned back into his dragon form and laid his neck flat on the ground to let his friend ride on his back. Then, he swiftly glided up the sky, leaving the desperately catching up devils to their own.
Sevianna suddenly felt the harsh wind, but Adounis stopped it with his barrier. She woke up with a blurry vision and raised her head to squint at the oblivious man beside her. When her vision cleared, she saw his handsome face, one that could win the hearts of millions of girls up close.
Her cheeks gradually went red as her heart skipped a beat. She had closed her eyes when they kissed before, so it was her first time seeing his face in close proximity. She pushed on his hard chest with both hands, intending to escape.
But she was too weak!
Adounis instinctively tightened his hold on Sevianna's waist when he felt her move back. They were thousands of feet above the ground. What if she fell? He took a look at what was the matter and immediately, his gaze darkened.
The girl had lowered her head, exposing her thick and long eyelashes while pursing her lips. She must have wanted to hide her blushing cheeks but failed miserably because her entire face had turned all red!
Seeing such an expression on her beautiful face, Adounis couldn't calm down. Even his lower body had instantly reacted.
He gulped.
"What's wrong?" He wasn't able to stop his voice from sounding hoarse.
Sevianna was startled and ended up clutching on his shirt as she had not retrieved her hand yet. "N—Nothing ... ?" She stammered despite trying to appear calm.
Adounis didn't believe it but he had another matter in mind. He pulled her even closer and moved his lips towards her reddened ears. "Sevi~ I want to hear it clearly."
"What?" Sevianna asked in a small voice. Her ears were tickling and her heart was trembling. She knew what he meant but she was too embarrassed to say it again.
"Sevianna~" Adounis continued to torture Sevianna's ears, even brushing on them lightly with his lips. He decided that if she stubbornly kept acting ignorant, he was going to do more than just the light touch.
Sevianna's heart almost leapt out of her chest. She moved back a bit and glared straight at Adounis' teasing eyes. But with her prominent red cheeks, it only made her look cuter. Adounis' rationality was fading ever so slightly.
He curled his lips down and widened his eyes—and as an added feature, he also tilted his head. "Why not?"
A wild cupid's arrow suddenly pierced Sevianna's heart.
'This devil!'
She really could not keep a reign over her beating heart. She quickly looked sideways to avoid his gaze and started to appease her heart back to its place.
Has Adounis ever given up?
Nope.
He was as stubborn as a mule.
Since Sevianna had turned sideways, her ears were only a few inches away from his face. He dipped down to kiss the tip of her ears and proceeded to kiss her vulnerable neck as well.
He decided not to hold back and sucked on her smooth skin as well until it was completely red.
Sevianna rapidly slapped his shoulders in protest. But with her weak state, her slaps were more like patting instead. "A—Adounis!" Her voice had turned hoarse as well.
The poor Shyvva was speechless at this situation.
"Hey hey hey~ I understand you can't wait to eat her up but can please pick the right place?" He said in exasperation. "I'd rather not have you guys do it while sitting on my back alright??" As soon as he said that, he picked up his speed as if he was trying to escape.
In a way, he was.
After hearing his complaints, Sevianna's face couldn't get any redder.
She finally realized that they were riding on the back of a dragon she didn't recognize. She had not noticed earlier because she was sitting on Adounis lap. What's more, they were actually flying over the clouds. And with the sun setting in the background, she would have taken the time to appreciate this moment in her heart.
But at the moment, she was distracted by the imprinted soft lips on her neck! She had no time for wonderful sceneries!
"Adounis!" She tried to slap his shoulder again but it was of no use.
Adounis didn't seem to listen to her and made another mark right beside the first. He moved back to take a look at his work and was yet satisfied, so he went on to make the third.
A moan uncontrollably escaped Sevianna's lips.
'Adounis my love ~ I want to roll around too but can we not do it on top of a dragon while flying thousands of feet above the ground?!'
She could only yell this inside her head.
Lily had long covered her ears with her paws and closed her eyes tightly. She had done it briskly as she noticed the familiar lust past through Adounis' eyes when Sevianna had tried to flee from his arms.
She had seen those dark eyes before. It had been the same eyes that Shen Yan had when he looked at the fresh-from-the-shower Mingyan on the previous world!
Adounis licked the three hickies he just made and was busily debating whether he should make another one.
Sevianna finally realized how stubborn her Yan gege was in this world. First, it was the slavery collar that he refused to take off of her. Then, it was when he decided to leave Sevianna at the castle while he went to confront Brand. And now this!
Although Sevianna also had her stubborn side, against someone who was at the highest tier of stubbornness, she found that she couldn't win.
"Wa—Wait!" She tried to cover Adounis' mouth when she realized he was about to continue. But Adounis captured both of her hands and placed them on her back—still holding on to them as he kept her in his arms.
Sevianna's mounds were pressed up against his chest.
She couldn't take it anymore. "I—I said—" She took a deep breath and finally gave up on resisting.
"I love you..."
Then, she humphed and turned her head away. Her face, once again, dipped in a deep shade of red.
Adounis' self-control had almost snapped. If not for the fact that he didn't want to share her body with anyone else, he would have long ago pushed her down and made every bit of her belong to him.
The two mounds pressed on his chest made it even more difficult for him to keep his self-control from breaking.
Adounis held Sevianna's arms with one hand as he freed the other. He pinched her chin and captured her red lips—instantly taking the chance to take it deeper when she gasped in surprise.
He had forcefully entangled their tongues and Sevianna could only helplessly let him continue, surrendering to his desires.
Their merged silhouettes were but a tiny speck on top of the majestic dragon. Under the darkening blue sky, they kept their tongues locked as Shyvva soundlessly continued to faithfully do his job. While the sunset was their setting, the poor dragon was their only witness—even though he didn't ask for any of this!
Adounis was reluctant to stop. So he only let Sevianna catch her breath for a moment before kissing her again. After all, once he tasted the sweetness, he could no longer stay abstinent.
All the way back to the castle, he chased after her tongue, making even Sevianna and Lily speechless. Shyvva's eyes grew duller and duller. He now understood what it felt to be the third wheel—almost literally since they were at it on his back as he brought them to Adounis' castle.
In the end, Sevianna got even weaker—but because of a different reason. She probably had enough strength to walk by herself, but she was too weak to do so. And Adounis was more than happy to carry her... straight to his bedroom.
Gareth was in tears when he saw his two masters coming back home alive. But before he could even speak, Adounis had dashed right passed him and leapt straight to the third floor—where his bedroom was.
A single leaf flew around him in silence as he was left behind.
Shyvva had transformed into his human self and patted him lightly on the shoulder. "The guy couldn't wait to eat his wife. Can you believe they almost did it while riding on top of me?!" He facepalmed as thought about it.
Gareth was stunned.
'Wife? Master's wife? Wife!'
How was it that only a few hours had went by when Miss Sevianna escaped, and they already got married?!
'What about the wedding reception?! How did the master prepare it so quickly?! Why was I not invited!?'
He would like to make further emphasis on his last question.
Shyvva had no idea what this little guard's thoughts were. Although the bitterness he felt as a third wheel remained, he was a little appeased when he saw Gareth's stunned face.
He sighed. "The little prince had grown up so fast. I wasn't even invited to the wedding! He should have used the summoning sheet then and I wouldn't have minded giving him another!" His expression was filled with longing at the image he projected in his mind of Adounis' grand wedding.
'Neither was I!'
Gareth joined in on Shyvva's daydreaming.
