"I can't believe Maddie chose to stay at the villa. Is she a lazy tabby or something?"
Lariette's words earned chuckles from Ruediger. Her words were audible above the hum of the engine of the motorboat. Tearing his eyes from the azure sea, he glanced at her.
Lariette wore a casual outfit today; long khaki pants, a round-collared T-shirt and a light jacket. Her chocolate brown hair was tied into a ponytail, slid through the hole at the back of a pink cap.
Arching one of his brows, Ruediger replied with a smirk, "Seems like she won't trade her bed for today's adventure."
Lariette nodded, quickly agreeing with Ruediger, "Today is her lazy day, I guess."
Ruediger simply smiled before he focused back on manning the motorboat. He and Lariette were heading to the tiny island, named Lilybrook Isle which she mentioned yesterday.
The clock had just struck eight-fifteen, the day had barely begun.
