Leon sat in a rattan chair on the balcony, one leg over the other. He crossed his arms, supporting the back of his head as he stared far off into the distance at the sky above.

White puffy clouds drifted in the blue sky, showing no traces of the rain yesterday and the day before. The soothing melody of the rolling waves harmonized with the laughter coming from the beach.

Leon's body language was casual. He didn't look as if he was caught in the humiliating scandal involving Matthias and Stephanie's ruined wedding.

The breeze swayed Leon's sandy blond strands. The bruises on his face, courtesy of Alaric's enraged punches, had gradually faded. The colors changed to light blue while the bumps reduced in size.

"It's so quiet today," murmured Leon as his eyes traced the clouds above. His voice had a hint of chuckles, imbued with mockery.
