CoreSee was one of the many skills Vrabam had in his arsenal, as it enabled him to view the cores of all living things. However, he didn't require one to eventually notice that he actually found himself before a tainted human, possibly having a rotten core. For it was a known rule that the abundance of one's core, could be determined by the person's words.
Vrabam had specifically chosen his basic transformation as a cat since it was found to be, the one thing all humans adored. He was literally so adorable and cute, to even the admittance of the first human to hold him. Yet all she saw him as, was a mere snack to her tamed beast, and the fact that her beast also had a corrupted core was the last straw. For there was a difference between a wild beast and a corrupted beast. But the fact that, Beasts being the least prone to corruption compared to humans and even monsters, proved that Ino couldn't have got an entirely wrong information from the Reapers. Or maybe he had also counted wrongly, which he didn't believe so that much. Yet the fact that each and every person in the Renville, including the beasts had a totally corrupted core— was an unchanging truth.
So, all Vrabam had to do was save the Reaper Corps the stress of using natural methods to finish them off one at a time. By rather dealing with them at once, with the aim of sparing none at all.
*ROOARRRR!!!
A powerful earth shattering roar resounded throughout the entire building. As soon yells and screams filled the air, the crowd breaking into a frenzy with them running in random directions. Near the booth, a far more larger beast compared to the other's there could be seen. It had a height of a house reaching almost reaching that of a monster, as it towered above the rest. One could see it's resemblance to that of a scar wolf beast, having black fur with golden furred scar— it's eyes which were also entirely golden.
Growling angrily, the first to go in for an attack was the actual scar wolf close to it. As it's anger overshadowed it's fear, it charged forward as fast as it could. Displaying it's sharp fangs, and drawing out its powerful claws, but the only mistake it made was to look the enemy in the eyes. Since the moment it did, it ended up it's master, exploding instantly. Just then, like a needle being pierced into a round of balloons, all those who got even a glance at the beast's eyes blew up. In a matter of seconds, hundreds had shared the same detonative fate, leaving a bloody mess all over. Some had obviously made it out, both being spiritualists and normal absorbers. The guards of the casino had mostly blown up, including their beasts, yet the few who were smart enough to not look it in the eyes were already in action.
The Channellers on the other hand with or without their beast there or alive, had figured out that setting their eyes blazing with aura did the trick. So those having their beasts, mostly the flight type beasts surviving, immediately mounted them. Channeling their spiritual energy to the beast through their auras as they placed both hands on them. They became one being with their tamed beasts, sharing the same vision with them. As being eager to bring down the beast, they all went on the offensive, weapons drawn and claws out. Also, though the non–spiritualists among the crowd were more than the spiritualists. The Spiritualists, still having some fight in them also joined in the battle and soon, about a hundred people were charging forward. Those below the channeller category, keeping their gaze fixed on the enemy's body. With fact that the large wolf beast hadn't moved an inch since, but rather kept it's eyes darting around— being far from their minds.
Watching as his comrades charged forward to attack, a certain individual also a mercenary and hunter working for the Lux Corporations. Sat on an Eagle Beast which had its head down, awaiting it's rider's orders. The rider wore an armless leather armour, having a furcoat around it unlike the others. For he was also in the channeller category, yet held the Advanced Channeller Power Level instead. His eyes a glowing silver as he had the Sliver Aura and in his hands, he held a scroll open as he spoke to another through it.
"How many casualties are we talking about, Zigor?" The speaker at the other end inquired.
"Hundreds of citizens and most of our people." He responded, having his focus on the beast, intrigued by how calm it was, being calmer than he'd ever seen. The comrades of his weren't small fry and neither was it monster, yet it wasn't bothered like all the beasts he'd hunted as some would probably make a run for it.
And of course, he had seen many blow up by looking it in the eye earlier. However, the fact that it was a beast since it looked like one, didn't bring the realization that it was way more dangerous, than the highest known tier of Monsters.
"This is definitely not good for business at all." The voice said, having no shred of worry even for his own fellow mercenaries.
The charging spiritualists, were now about reaching the beast itself. Their aura coated weapons held tight and ready to come down at it. When the creature finally made a move, standing up on its feet as it previously sat. "Sir, I think we'll be needing some of the higher levels."
*SWWIIIIIP!
A wave of invisible energy shot out of the beasts body, in an instant as it went past all those closer including those in the air. Their spiritual energy was sucked entirely out of their bodies, the beast and men dropping and crashing down. As none of the riders could even react quickly enough to out run it. Stunned and watching as the wave drew near, every living being it went by no longer having a spec of life in them. The scroll fell through from his hands as the wave swept past him, his face scrunching up and body shrinking with his skin turning grayish-blue colour.
"Zigor, do you hear me? What's the current situation?" The voice from the still open scroll, could be heard loud and clear enough to be caught by the beast's sharp senses. The building was now silent, having the floors decorated with the different colours of carcasses. The inside being barely lit now, as the wave had taken out the lights, the bright golden eyes of wolf glimmered with each step it took. With heavy stomps which shook the ground, causing the roof to slowly crumble down. It finally stood by the scroll which was still connected to the other end with words coming through.
"We have successfully evacuated the assets and remaining citizens from the building. Lure out the beast! I repeat, lure out the beast!"
Listening to the words, a shadow swept by Vrabam and as he looked up he could see nothing above in the sky, though he knew something was there. And so, not wanting to delay their deaths any further, he pushed himself down and with a jump and a strong heavy landing. He didn't only bring what remained of the roof crumbling down. Instead the entire large building collapsed, revealing the famous village of Renville. As the dust settled down, he looked up in the sky and about a hundred Beast Riders could be seen, with more on the ground at each side. For the sight of this brought nothing, but another look of sheer disgust up his face, as the Taint was grew much purer.
'Hah, more Rotten Cores seeking death. Worry not, that's exactly what I have for you.'
