Trails of two green-like energies, one darker than the other could be seen, as the two orbs moved around the void with lightning speed. Everytime the smaller and larger would clash, a shockwave of energy would spread throughout the void. With each collision, one would increase in size while the other decreased. For the one to successfully devour the other, would become the core of Zlatan's body, each having varying outcomes.
Sitting atop the bright sphere on comfy seats which could retract back into the large figure. The gray and white spheres sat there, observing the battle carefully. "Whats the chances of the older one devouring the younger?"
"Hahaha, you're seriously asking such a question Ino. Can't you see what's going on already?" Omnis said, not needing to talk much as the older one which was a dark green, had grown bigger than it's initial size with the other a light green, being almost depleted.
"But the younger seems to be making a possible comeback." Ino noted, noticing the rate at which the older devoured the other, significantly reduced. "That's simply impossible, forget it— definitely not gonna work here."
Relaxing in the comfort of the seat and shutting his eyes, he continued. "There are two sides to what happens if any of them wins— yet Mastar preferred the favourable one also having the highest success rate, so..." Omnis rambled on, not seeing how Ino's eyes slowly widened in shock.
"If the younger was to win, being much much more unlikely. All the risks would be in vain, failing to dealing much impact as expected. Yet—"
"Whaaaaaaat!!!" Ino screamed out, unable to believe what suddenly happened before her own eyes. With his eyes opening up, Omnis froze or infact was petrified with his growing face pale.
"Ho– how is this happening?" He managed to say admist the shock. For the orbs moving around the void before them, weren't small or large anymore. Both even didn't have one being a dark green and the other a lighter one, but rather a similar green colour. They were now the same in size, radius, diameter, circumference and whatever— just name it. As nothing could now make a difference between the two.
Omnis eyes tried to follow the two in order to spot something, failing to actually know what something was for the first time. "Which one is which?!" He turned to the white sphere, questioning her as she had her gaze on them all this whiles he didn't.
"I said which one is which?!" Asking for the second time, he'd wish to be able to shake her up, seeing her gaze was only on the orbs without batting an eye or paying him any attention.
"Ino?!" Omnis yelled at her, desperate to get an answer. Finally getting a reply, though when she spoke, her voice broke. "I– I – lost it af– after — Omnis they're alive, they– they tricked me!"
Omnis looked at her, then turned to look at the orbs before blowing out some fumes, like he'd exhaled deeply though with neither a nose nor air around. Since first of all, he needed a calm and clear mind to tackle this in the right way. As one couldn't think straight, when anger and confusion loomed around.
Taking a look at the orbs once again, he made his decision. "You've forced my hand to do this."
Omnis eyes lit up brightly in an instant, one eye turning completely golden while the other did the same in silver. However, that wasn't the end of it as a part of his golden eye, began to move into the silver one and vice versa. Soon beginning to swirl around, rapidly mixing up until another colour could be seen— Electrum. A bright, pale gold color which was slightly silvery.
Finally he was linked up with Omnisiencia, having nothing hidden from his sight and fully becoming all-knowing. He could see everything in every existing Domain except one, aware of the movement of all even down to the most atomic substance. So telling which orb was which, wouldn't prove to even be called a task for him.
"Let's see wh— eh? Wait, what's going on here." Omnis couldn't believe his eyes anymore, as not one bit of a difference, could still be told between them at all. It was as if they were on being would've been split into two— though that was much more of the truth. As soon their trajectory redirected towards each other, as if an invisible attraction was established. And when both of them clashed sending a larger shockwave than before, it stung their eyes, causing them to shut it close.
A moment later, their eyes flickered open, with Omnis who'd thought he'd had his fair share of shock, wasn't done yet. For surrounded with pure energy as one without an ounce of taint, since the darkness around the older one was a result of taint. He couldn't help but smile at the results, surpassing what he'd expected— something positive at last.
"The merge is complete." Ino confirmed, looking at the screen before her though one could literally see that without it. "But Omnis, who devoured the other— who dominated?"
"Um, I don't know."
***************
Their hooves pounded the hard packed earth as the horses galloped through the midst of the forest. Being located in the district known for its abundant forestland, The Forest District. As though outside the strongest walls of Shade City like the other districts. All considered to be part of it, since it was located in its territory. And Tilon was one of the five villages which formed the district, the exact place where they were heading back from.
Riding ahead, two coursers could be seen, one black and the other white. While bringing up the rear, not for any reason, except failing to have enough speed to catch up to the others. A white stallion could be seen as like the riders up ahead, this one also wore a black cloak having his face under its hood.
So far not encountering any interruptions throughout their journey there, they anticipated the same as they got back also. For already being halfway through, it would only take about an hour and a half to get reach their destination. Any interruptions being least expected at this point of the journey so far.
The occasional rustling of leaves as the cold winds of the night blew, cracking of twigs on the path, croaking and other sounds of the night spiced the air. However, despite not focusing on their enhanced sense of hearing all being spiritualists. The rider on the stallion having sharper ears with a much further range than others, heard something far off.
The sounds faint, being probably twenty or more miles away from where they were, he brushed it off. Continuing on the journey, it didn't even clock about five minutes when a high pitched scream rang clearly in his ears. As not only did he hear it but the other's also caught it, immediately bringing their steads to a halt. Listening carefully focusing on his sense of hearing, manipulating a portion of spiritual energy to his ears. He could hear something similar to what he'd done earlier before the scream— growls.
