-Formed Seals-

There, fashioned in stone armaments and about 2 meters tall, with a waffling sense of intimidation. A sharp contrast to the one who summoned it. The neither living or dead companion of the white haired youth pushed open the stone door that seemed to have been accompanied with light of salvation from its other end.

Whilst, everyone watched with anticipation, their every muscle fibre stretched staunch in a readied manner to twist into any direction, having expected the worst, a volley of arrows or thorns launched from behind the doors.

But nothing came…

There was a loud rumbling, then the creaking sound of metals screeching, as if it had not been moved for a very very long time, for more than a century, or quite even before the beginning of Modern Earth Civilization, that's more than a thousand years ago.

BANG!

A large shock was transferred into the walls, assuming the force of a mini earthquake, without exception the whole group lost their footing, excluding the Stone Terracotta which bursted into smithereens a moment later having exchanged itself for a momentarily outburst of power.

Then right after the Terracotta's dust settled, everyone seemed to have recovered from the quake wanting to get back on their feets… Only to freeze, as if time had stopped, the atmosphere instantaneously turned silent, a far cry from what it had been before after the door was pushed open.

Unseen, a very archaic feeling washed over the group in the form of an invisible wave.

Meanwhile, Flynn on the other hand was experiencing a bizarre instance of change within the very depth of his Soul on a fundamental level. An access he was not supposed to be given to, but from the look of things the whole group was going through the same process.

If only there had been a King Level Bearer present, then the ominous gray mist gushing out from behind the door, only visible to top existences like them would have caused a World Gathering of King Bearers if not one of the Five Emperors and the summoning of a Demonic Creature.

While the gray mist remained invisible to the group, it was being absorbed at a rapid pace by them. The largest whirlpool of them, towering about ten meters was being pulled by the white haired youth whose eyes were closed with sweats permitting his forehead.

The second moreover were two people, looking to be in a competition. Their absorption rate a towering unseen 5 meter whirlpool, the older guy Alex and Flynn similarly had their eyes closed.

Surprisingly, Amelia on the other hand far surpassed the other girl by a whole meter, a whirlpool of 3 meters while the girl just 2 meters, the lowest of them all.

'What's this?'

In a sublime state of incomprehensibility , Flynn managed to utter as he watched the fantastical scene within his soul.

At first there had been an endless cyclone turning everything into chaos, looking like it would destroy everything only for a sharp burst of light to shine within it after, releasing a few sharp rays as it began to take a unified order.

Soon something Bronze colored formed within it, taking a circular flat shape it further turned into a Silver color, then Gold, a shiny Platinum color that reflected off brighter rays within the cyclone.

But then, the rays got increasingly bright, continuously piercing the cyclone here and there until it couldn't contain it anymore.

There, much more of a higher quality of its previous, the circular shaped something took an adamantine form, Diamond, excluding a shining bright light that illuminated his soul… but it seemed the transformation was far from done.

Though the flat circular shaped diamond escaped the cyclone, it didn't vanish and instead birthed strange things.

3 giant streaks of complicated ancient texts appeared, looking to have been formed from decisive, swift strokes and noble elegance, they hovered above the head, now assuming the flat circular diamond was a coin.

And beneath, not less complicated two giants ancient texts appeared the next instant.

Hovering for a slight moment, all five texts began to shrink rapidly, soon becoming so small that they were the size of an average man.

Whilst, the diamond coin grew in size.

3 texts up, 2 down, the next moment, they all merged with the coin on each sides.

Triggering another instantaneous change that complete threw Flynn into an abyss of confusion.

A striking contrast, the coin turned completely black, no different from the depth of night itself. The five ancient texts that had merged with it suddenly started to shine as they absorbed the light around them, soon after the cyclone was also absorbed contained within the ancient texts that now shined with ethereal glow.

Finally the true form of the coin revealed itself to him, alongside a presentation of what the ancient texts meant.

The coin wasn't a coin but the guard of a katana.

The upper ancient texts meant Absolute, and the lower Defiance.

At this moment, just as Flynn felt his sense being pulled out of this incomprehensible state, the unseen towering gray mist of his, outside, that had grown up to fifteen meters, 3 more more than the white haired youth and 8 more than the guy Alex receded as it vanished.

Suddenly there was a series of gasps of having escaped death from the group as they fell on their knees, struggling to believe what they had just experienced. The crushing sense of immense danger actually helped them form their seal, Diamond Seals at that.

Usually, this would have taken a month or two after becoming a Bearer to accomplish. The higher the rank one wanted their seals to be, the longer time and strenuous effort it would take to kill Diabolical Creatures and claim their imprint.

Apart from Τια, a form of energy that currently filled the world and was akin to mana. To increase their strength or rather the potency of their Will, a Bearer had to kill Diabolical Creatures to collect Imprints, a mark that would be added to their Seals, which stayed in the Soul.

So the higher the grade of the Seal formed after conquering their Tribulation before commencing their journey as Bearers, the more Imprints could be collected at each Level, the second factor when it came increasing one's potential. Whilst the first was set since in the beginning based on luck of the person they were sent to during Tribulation.

Including Flynn, everyone had a flabbergasted look, especially the white haired whose disbelief was brief before taking a normal look of elation.

At this moment, while they were feeling triumph at the brimming power in their muscles at superhuman level enough to dent metal without flinching, behind the open doors was a grand astute chamber with light.
