{Chapter: 161 Bloodthirsty Killing Intent}

William was violently hurled through the air by the scorching flames erupting from the corpse dragon's body. His clothes disintegrated into ash in an instant, and his skin began to melt under the searing heat.

"Aaargh!" William's agonized screams echoed through the air. His hands were stripped of flesh, leaving only light-red, deformed elemental bones exposed. The sight was grotesque—his blood and muscles completely liquefied by the infernal fire.

Without hesitation, William hurled himself into the sea, the contact of cool water against his blistered and burned flesh sending another wave of excruciating pain through his body. He let out a harrowing scream, his voice filled with agony and rage. His face was charred and disfigured, marred with deep pits and burns. His skeletal structure was partially visible beneath the tattered remains of his flesh, making him appear like a specter of death itself.

"Damn you, you wretched lizard! I'll tear you apart, piece by piece!" William snarled, his voice hoarse with fury.

The light-red deformed elemental particles within him flickered weakly, struggling to repair his damaged body. The flames of the corpse dragon had inflicted a grievous wound, and his regeneration was notably slower than before. It was evident—the hellfire had nearly incinerated him, consuming not just his body but his very cells.

"Damn it..." he muttered, his voice a mixture of pain and fury. His rage boiled hotter than the flames that had burned him. He had never been humiliated like this before.

The corpse dragon hovered in the sky, its enormous, menacing eyes locked onto William. It let out a thunderous roar, baffled by the human's survival. Its hellfire should have reduced him to nothing but cinders.

"ROAR!" The dragon opened its massive maw once more, unleashing a torrential column of flame. This was no mere fireball—it was a pillar of pure destruction, rushing down like a waterfall of molten fury.

With no choice, William plunged deeper into the sea. His body was far from fully healed; he needed time. But surrender was not an option.

Ssssshhhh...

As the hellfire met the seawater, an eruption of steam and vapor blanketed the battlefield, obscuring everything in a dense fog. The sound of boiling water filled the air, and the sea churned violently, caught in the throes of fire and fury.

The corpse dragon, undeterred, suddenly dived from the sky, its massive form crashing into the ocean with explosive force.

BOOM!

A monstrous wave, nearly a hundred meters high, surged outward. The impact sent violent ripples through the water, distorting the ocean's surface with unrelenting turbulence.

William struggled against the chaotic currents, his body already battered beyond its limits. The repair process of his elemental particles faltered under the relentless thrashing of the sea. The wounds on his body throbbed with agony as the saltwater seeped into them, intensifying his torment.

The corpse dragon floated ominously on the surface, its glowing eyes scanning the murky depths. It had no intention of letting William escape. It would rip him apart, devour him, and ensure his suffering.

With a low, guttural growl, the beast surged forward, its titanic form cutting through the waves at alarming speed.

William fought to stabilize himself in the tumbling waters, but before he could act, a razor-sharp claw, shimmering with deadly intent, sliced through the water toward him at blinding speed.

"Shit!" William roared, forcing himself to teleport despite the excruciating pain.

But something was wrong.

The teleportation was sluggish, sluggish to the point of being nearly useless. His body barely moved—only thirty meters away. It was only a fraction of what he could normally manage.

"Urgh!" he grunted as he reappeared, feeling the sting of failure. A deep gash now marred his shoulder, courtesy of the corpse dragon's deadly claws.

The dragon roared in frustration, infuriated that William had evaded yet another fatal blow.

"You damn beast... Just wait. Soon, you'll understand the true meaning of pain." William's eyes gleamed with murderous intent. The humiliation, the agony—he would repay them tenfold.

With no other option, he dove deeper into the ocean. He had to bide his time, had to endure the shame of retreating. The indignity gnawed at him, but survival was paramount.

The corpse dragon roared once more and dived into the depths, unwilling to let its prey slip away. No one escaped its wrath.

William accelerated through the water, his deformed elemental particles resuming their slow reconstruction of his ravaged form. The extensive damage was taking longer to mend, and every passing second was sheer torture.

The dragon's glowing eyes pierced through the darkness of the deep, easily tracking William's movements. It lunged forward, its massive bulk stirring up a storm of bubbles and turbulence. Despite its colossal size, it moved with terrifying speed.

William gritted his teeth and continued his descent, heading for the ocean floor hundreds of meters below.

The corpse dragon closed in, its claws gleaming in the dim light. It lashed out.

"Aaaargh!" William roared in defiance, vanishing in a desperate teleportation maneuver, reappearing just above the dragon's back.

CRASH!

The dragon's claws slashed through the seabed, leaving a deep gouge in the rock below. The sheer force of its strike was enough to split stone like parchment.

William wasted no time and propelled himself upward. His goal was simple: buy time. The corpse dragon let out another furious roar, the sheer force of its voice sending violent shockwaves through the water. This damn human had evaded it yet again!

The chase continued as the dragon surged after William, its bloodlust reaching an all-consuming peak.

William burst out of the water, launching himself skyward. His body had finally healed—his hands, his face, even the deep wounds across his torso. Only faint scars remained as a testament to his suffering.

BOOM!

A towering column of seawater erupted into the sky as the massive corpse dragon emerged, its enormous wings beating powerfully. It ascended rapidly, closing the distance between them.

William hovered in the air, clenching his fists. A sinister smirk spread across his face as he gazed at his restored hands. He ran a finger over his face, feeling the smooth skin beneath. Finally, he was whole again.

"Stupid lizard... Are you ready to die?" William asked coldly, his back turned to the dragon.

"ROAR!" The corpse dragon bellowed in fury, launching a massive fireball toward him.

William raised his arms, his entire being surging with power.

A deep crimson glow engulfed him, and seven deformed elemental particles spiraled out of his body, ascending into the heavens like fiery comets.

"Transformation: Single State!" he declared.

A ten-meter-tall black Transformer materialized in the sky above the dragon, its presence exuding overwhelming power.

"Transformation: Double State!" William's voice rang out again.

A dazzling blue light exploded forth, and a hundred-meter-high particle storm enveloped the Transformer, crackling with raw, destructive energy.

The battlefield was set. The real fight was only just beginning.
