Yuki's voice came as a whisper—low and devoid of mercy.
Haruka's eyes widened, and she slowly turned her head towards the window without breathing.
She didn't even dare. She was terrified that if she did, Yuki would freeze her without batting an eye.
Just then, Ryuen poked his head down, hanging upside down from the ledge with a smile.
In his hand, he held the blue bow, the arrow already nocked and drawn.
"Hey."
"H...hi. Uh, you weren't..." Haruka trailed off when Yuki's fingers crawled up her arm.
Then swung over her arm over her shoulder, causing a short gasp to escape her lips.
"Don't think I didn't hear what you said. I'm not actually mad at you."
"What you said when you thought I left, just showed how much of a green snake you are."
"I'm sorry. I was just angry. I promise I won't do it again," Haruka apologized, with sincerity laced in her tone.
Ryuen smiled.
"I forgive you..."
