We stood motionless. Simon.
He burst into the place like a raging storm, looking disheveled and frantic. He ought to have been at home recuperating, but instead, he'd arrived to spoil everything.
Philip, enraged, immediately commanded the security team to restrain Simon.
He gestured at him, his face flushed with rage.
"You thankless child!" Philip bellowed, his voice brimming with anger. "What on earth are you doing here, making a spectacle on your uncle's wedding day?"
He marched towards Simon, each word laced with contempt. "If you don't leave right now, you can kiss goodbye to ever becoming CEO of the Hughes family!"
For the first time in ages, Simon didn't cower. He stood firm, his jaw clenched, his chest heaving with pent-up emotions. He straightened his posture and yelled back, his voice breaking with a raw intensity that sent shivers through the room.
