In the shadowy meeting room, Isaac and I were illuminated by the only two bright lights.
His vivid, penetrating gaze, reminiscent of twinkling stars, bore into mine.
It was as if a long-dormant, ancient lake had finally found its soulmate, creating gentle waves across its surface.
