"You two should proceed directly inside," someone said.

With Milo at my side, we stepped onto the crimson walkway, enveloped by the adoring looks of our loved ones. Joy flooded my being, seeping into every part of my soul like an unseen, comforting warmth. A blend of astonishment and elation washed over me.

I hadn't anticipated that Milo had covertly arranged this entire setting for me.

As we approached the officiant, it still felt dreamlike, each step laden with awe.

The officiant's words pierced the fog, posing the age-old question. "Milo, will you take Ravenna as your lawfully wedded spouse?"

Without hesitation, Milo's voice resonated, "I will!"

The officiant then turned to me, his eyes gentle yet resolute.

"Ravenna, will you take Milo as your lawfully wedded husband?"

Gazing into his kind, faithful eyes, I replied firmly, "I will."

Suddenly, a shrill cry shattered the moment, reverberating from the hall's entrance.
