Zealand's face turned crimson, a blend of anger and shame evident as he shouted, "You! You imposter! Your lies will be uncovered soon, yet here you stand, pretending all is well. I swear, you're not telling the truth!"

I remained unfazed. Instead, I turned my attention to Hendrick.

"Why bet on your underling?" I questioned calmly, but with a hint of provocation. "Hendrick, are you brave enough to face me yourself?"

He had always treated me as a mere piece in his game, but now I sought to take charge.
