Blacklight: The Independent

In 2020 a child was born. At first she was normal much like the other's around her, but the day she turned ten she accidently toppled a building.



And thus this marked the day the first Homo-Validus, a Borrower had been discovered.



She wouldn't be the last one either, as ten year olds all over the world with powers like hers began to appear too. A testing facility where these kids could be raised and researched was established, but after they grew and fought for their freedom, they inevitably won independence after a 50 year long war.



Now in 2148, Babel city had grown into one of the few places where Borrowers and Humans could coexist on equal footing. And is now the starting point for a certain student.
