'Their journey must have been truly memorable,' Leslie pondered.

A faint smile graced her lips, without a trace of envy.

However, Kiana wasn't content. She produced a collection of instant photographs and began showcasing them one after another, enthusiastically sharing the tales behind each image.

Leslie's expression remained unchanged, as if her smile had been etched permanently onto her face.

Then she caught sight of that particular photograph.

The image depicted a couple seated side by side on a park bench, illuminated by the warm light of the setting sun. The woman's head leaned gently against the man's shoulder. They appeared so close that even sunbeams couldn't slip between them.

Leslie reached out to examine it more closely, but Denver quickly withdrew the photo.

"Just a random snapshot of some strangers," he remarked casually. "Nothing special to see."

"Is that right?" Leslie responded, feigning indifference. "You've got quite an eye for photography."
