Travis chuckled amidst his tears. "Absolutely! Let's tail them!"
Sitting in Raegan's vehicle, time seemed to drag on endlessly for him.
From the instant he settled in, his gaze kept darting to the side mirror, observing the events unfolding outside.
When Travis embraced Leslie tightly, Raegan felt a surge of envy, like a blow to his stomach.
"I haven't even had the chance to hug her, and now this guy gets to?"
However, as Leslie entered the car, Raegan swiftly regained his composed and mature demeanor.
"Finished your conversation?" he inquired.
Leslie bobbed her head and leaned slightly towards him, examining his expression. "Are you upset?"
Raegan released a nonchalant laugh. "Not at all. What reason would I have?"
Leslie gently held his face, gazing at him for a moment, carefully assessing before concluding that he was merely feigning indifference.
She then leaned in and planted a soft kiss on his lips.
