Jane and my brother stood there, utterly shocked, their faces a picture of disbelief.

"General Manager, there must be some mistake," my brother stammered.

"Divina? President Smith? How could that be?" Jane let out an uncomfortable chuckle.

The general manager reprimanded, "Andrew, if you're intoxicated, go clear your head and stop making a fool of yourself. You haven't even turned in your monthly report!"

My brother, taken aback by the general manager's statement, remained incredulous.

"That can't be right. General Manager, my sister is just a homemaker. When did she become the boss?"

"Divina is President Smith. You must be confused because you're drunk," Jane ridiculously suggested the general manager have some juice to sober up.

The general manager repeated my position and quickly apologized to me, "President Smith, I'm sorry you had to witness this. It's a failure on our management's part."

I gestured dismissively, indicating it wasn't a concern.
