A few hours earlier, Grey had been at home, doing his best to bring a smile to Jesse's face while also apologizing to her. After affirming that she could finally call him "brother," the two of them stepped out of the room with matching smiles on their faces.

When they emerged, Clara spotted the way Grey held Jesse's hand, and a soft, heartwarming smile formed on her lips.

'I guess he took my advice. I'm so glad… Grey will finally have the little sister he always wanted but never had,' she thought as she watched them head toward the modest dining table.

"What's for dinner, Mum? Brother Grey and I are starving!" Jesse said cheerfully.

"Brother Grey?" Clara asked in surprise, her gaze shifting to Grey, who awkwardly scratched the back of his head in slight embarrassment.

"Yes! He said I can call him brother now! I'm so happy Brother Grey has forgiven me and finally accepted me!" Jesse beamed with a cheeky grin.
