Magus Supremacy

"One down, two more to…" he was about to say when he was suddenly struck, sent flying through a line of trees by the second Echidas. He crashed hard into a thick trunk, which halted his momentum, and then collapsed to the ground—motionless and unmoving.

The beast, seeing this, began to stride towards Grey with steady, ominous steps. From above, the mother and daughter duo looked on, frozen in shock at the sudden turn of events.

"Demon! Are you alright?!" the daughter shouted, her voice laced with panic—but there was no response. She turned toward her mother, who was holding her protectively.

"He will… I hope," the woman replied quietly.

The beast was now terribly close, and the young elf trembled at the thought of their savior being slaughtered.

Just in time!
