With his large strides he soon emerged before her in less than a few short moments.

" Excuse me but could you please show me how to turn this on, it's actually my first time here so...am not really all that familiar with the gyms equipment" Lin Mu asked the tired Lady, His face revealed a touch of nervousness.

 The lady who was just about to leave didn't say anything but nod with confirmation.

Fortunately for him she didn't recognize him nor did she really know of his background.

 The lady silently eyed Lin Mu from head to toe. ' He looks quite sturdy for a kid...., Moreover that faint aura around him doesn't seem like something a normal child would possess..., it seems similar to one only someone whose killed a few beasts would acquire....but there is a possibility that he might just be one of those Tian Jiang Academy entrance exam students with a nice backing' she thought briefly before she said with a calm voice. " Sure, What speed level would you like me to set it to "

" I'd like to start off easy first so I can warm up, Could you help me with that"

" Oh, of course " The lady said before turning on her treadmill and resetting the speed limit.

" I have a speed type ability so I tend to run far faster than most but I just reset it to 20 mph so you should be fine with this" The lady said.

' 20mph?!, do I look like a toddler to you....' Lin Mu wanted to say but decided against it.

 " Thank you so much, 20mph seems like the right speed for me." Lin Mu clasped his hands together in thanks while giving a half-assed smile.

The lady nodded before leaving, She was about to head to the showers to wash up when she saw someone waving at her from the distance.

" Miss Li, hey Li Fei hold up, just one minute please!" An exhausted looking man in an ash suit ran with haste to meet the young woman Lin Mu had just talked to.

' What's he doing here, I thought I told him to wait for me in the car...' The lady frowned upon seeing the man, She wanted to continue walking but when she saw his pitiful appearance she decided to stop instead, at least lend him an ear. " What is it Mister Gu?, I thought I told you not to interrupt me during my outings "

" Am sorry Miss Li but there's been an urgent announcement, The Headmaster wishes for you to return to the academy as soon as possible to discuss a serious matter " Gu shen said in one breath, He began painting even more afterwards like someone who had just ran a marathon.

The lady on the other hand raised a brow, She couldn't help but wonder why they'd request for her to return urgently all of a sudden.

" Fine lead the-" The lady was about to ask him to lead the way when she reached for her pocket only to discover that her phone wasn't there.

' I must've forgotten it back at the treadmill..' She thought.

" Go wait for me in the car, I'll be right there in just a minute " She said before running back towards the treadmill area.

' What's going on?' Just when she returned she was surprised to see a gathering crowd at the area she had left or to be specific, Where she had left that boy from earlier.

She pushed through the crowd, Bypassing her way into their midst, When she emerged on the inside she was stunned as to what she saw.

The handsome teenager from earlier who had a muscular and athletic build was busy using the treadmill. If that was all she wouldn't be stunned, What shocked her was the speed at which the machine was reading.

249mph!

The boy looked like only an entrance exam student yet he was about to reach the speed of an average 2nd year Tian Jiang Academy student. She felt at a loss as to how that was even possible.

"Wow, who is that?" someone from the crowd whispered.

" Wait doesn't he look familiar to you?" 

" Yeah now that you mentioned it he does, I swear I've seen him before "

" Yes me too, but where"

"Blasted idiots can't you tell it's that cursed brat!, It's Lin Mu! " A middle-aged women yelled in shock.

" She's right, I can't believe it's him!"

" But I thought he was without an ability "

" You got that right!, this isn't making any sense "

While the crowd were busy conversing, Lin Mu was too concentrated to care for their stares and whispers, He was completely focused on his workout. 

He was determined to push himself to new heights, to see just how far his refined body could take him, So he ran on the treadmill at top speed, quickly putting one leg Infront of the other, Holding his breathing and flexing his muscles with each stride.

Running on this treadmill made him begin feeling a sense of power and strength he had never known before.

' This is what am talking about!' Lin Mu cheered with ecstasy.

As he exercised, sweat dripping from his brow, he felt a sense of freedom and empowerment he had never known before. His body was strong, capable, and agile, Yet he was eager to see what it could really do.

The gym patrons watched in awe as Lin Mu worked out, his muscles rippling beneath his skin. He looked like a force to be reckoned with, his speeding figure and concentrated eyes gave one the impression of a predator chasing it's prey.

Everyone who was watching him couldn't believe their eyes. The young man on the treadmill was really like a focused beast chasing it's prey without rest, even they couldn't help but feel a bit pressured at the sight, a few weak minded people even unconsciously took a step back while others began sweating for no reason.

' Huahhhhh! ' With a final shout of effort, Lin Mu's speed finally surpassed 249 mph. Unfortunately 250 seemed to be his limit because, no matter how much he tried, He found it extremely difficult to increase his speed even more.

' I'd say I've done more than enough, It's best I stop here before I waste all my energy trying to break my speed limit. ' Lin Mu let out a breath of foul air, He clicked on the stop button and the treadmills speed began decreasing.

As he walked off the treadmill, He was left stunned when he discovered that everyone's gazes were all on him.
