CHAPTER 63

The sound of the doorbell ringing, vibrated in her head and Poppy blinked her eyes open, turning her head on the bed where she'd been laying for hours now.

Sebastian usually came to visit her after his work time these past few days. Other than that she hadn't had much to do. She'd also notified the agency she wouldn't be available for a while, because deep down, she knew she was a mess, and she was yet to figure herself out completely.

How could she be such a mess for a man? It made no sense to her, yet, she couldn't fix herself, not yet.

Sitting up on the bed, she ran her fingers through the golden strands of her hair, turning her head to stare at the wall clock. Who was at her door? There were still a few hours before. Sebastian would be out of work, so it definitely couldn't be him.
