With a silence hanging in the air after Aoni's proclamation, Lea couldn't decide between scolding her youngest son or bawling her eyes out. Maybe if it were the first time she'd heard something similar from one of her children, the latter would have been her decisive action, but alas, that wasn't the case.

But right when she was about to say something to her youngest son, three people appeared in the room.

"I specifically remember saying the same thing a few years ago, Mom; since I'm a traveler now, I can help you and Dad with expenses for the younger ones." A voice familiar to Aoni caused the lad to abruptly turn to the side because he suddenly felt a presence extremely close to his body.

But having a presence nearby wasn't what triggered a reaction from him; instead, it was the imminent threat of danger that caused Aoni to bring his arms up and guard his head while waiting for the impact.
