Chapter 9:

The man came wanting rape her and kill her so she started struggling. So he cut her off and exposed one of her shoulder but she resisted and then her cut her skin later.

Lucas's family were wondering where mira had went when they heard the dispute came out. When all of a sudden the man grabbed her by the neck and said "if anyone comes closer I will kill her" he said pointing the dagger to her neck.

Unknowingly Lucas was behind and he shot him in the butt and the girl escaped.

Lucas was so angry and knew who exactly was to blame.

Everyone was scared because of the look on his face and his power.

Even the elders, his elder siblings and his parents was afraid he called one of his bodyguard to take the man away and his cousin responsible for this incident.

And he when close to his wife and carried her and went home.

He took her home and laid her in his bed and said

"I am gonna teach how to fight and you have to move into my room and when will you change your name to mine"

She said "I will change my name when I am 21yrs old, but I can't move into your room because I don't want to disturb your privacy, but I wanna learn fighting but not from but because you will be soft on me"

Lucas stared deeply at her with his dark eyes she has indeed become more beautiful because she was now 18 and so he said

"Fine but you must learn how to fight"

And so he left to take care of business and told her not to leave the room

Then Lucas went to a quiet place. Where the man that had assaulted Mira and his cousin Lila were tied to a chair.

There was 2 men beside Lucas and Lucas gave a sign and the man started with the cousin by putting a hot metal rod on her thigh and demanding for an answer.

It turns out that Lila was his step cousin who wanted to marry him since they were not blood and she wanted to get rid of his wife so he will be forced to marry her and his wife has a connection to something which she wanted for herself and the man that assaulted her was hired to kill her.

Lucas said "Lila you must ve very selfish and stupid to think that I will ever marry you. Even if you were the last person on earth and we were to reprocreate the world, I would rather die"

After many torture the hired assault man was killed while the cousin was on the verge of death and so he left and went back to his room seeing his wife sleeping peacefully and he laid down beside her and sleept off.
