"Isn't this the result you desired?" He remarked, before departing the hospital and heading home, leaving her by herself.


Leona remained hospitalized for several days without any visitors. Upon discharge, she made her way back to the Ferdinand residence.


"You've returned? Are you feeling improved?" she inquired, her sudden interest causing Leona to momentarily hesitate.


Dave, however, showed no reaction. He reclined lazily on the sofa. It had been days since their last encounter, and Dave appeared even more worn out.
