Dave stared out the window, struggling to comprehend that Kate had ventured to Polarisia on her own.

In their time together, Kate frequently expressed a desire to visit Polarisia, but Dave always dismissed it with a lukewarm reaction.

Upon reaching Polarisia, they didn't pause to unpack their belongings.

They immediately set off for the spot Dave's acquaintance had indicated.

However, upon arrival, they discovered nothing.

After inquiring with locals, they learned that Kate had recently departed.

"You're referring to those two enormous ships? They were truly impressive!"

It seemed as though destiny had decreed they would never encounter Kate.

Yet Dave was unwilling to let this chance escape. The thought of Kate with another man caused him unbearable heartache.

They followed the waterway through Polarisia, intent on locating her.

Eventually, they did indeed find her.

They stood awestruck before the enormous cruise vessel.
