Ava's Perspective
I tried to turn away, clutching the doorframe, but Hunter was faster. He squeezed himself between the door and its frame, moving closer with a menacing look in his eyes. Before I could react, he seized my shoulders and yanked me against his body. "Ava," he said softly, his tone persuasive. "Let's try again."
I trembled at his touch, feeling no warmth—only the burden of his dominance. "Release me," I demanded, attempting to push him away. "I'm serious, Hunter. Our relationship is over!"
His grip tightened, drawing me nearer. "Over?" he repeated, his voice quiet yet threatening. "We're bonded, Ava. You can't simply abandon me. No one leaves an alpha, particularly not his omega partner."
I gritted my teeth, enraged. "A partner?" I retorted. "You coerced me into this bond, Hunter. You dismissed my desires, my independence, and now you expect devotion?"
