The Lost Mythical Land
Dani stood rooted to the spot, his mind struggling to process what he was seeing. The vibrant landscape before him felt surreal, far removed from anything he had read about in the novel.
The gentle hum of energy in the air, the crystalline trees, and the shimmering rivers—it was both enchanting and overwhelming. He was still marveling at the scenery when the familiar chime of the system interrupted his thoughts.
System Notification:
Host has entered the Lost Mythical Land of the Beasts.
Dani blinked, his confusion only deepening. "The Lost Mythical Land of the Beasts?" he muttered under his breath. "What is this place? This wasn't in the novel… not even a hint of it."
Emma and Tanis stood silently beside him, watching his reaction with amused expressions.
As Dani tried to piece together the puzzle, another system notification popped up, sending a chill down his spine.
System Notification:
Warning: Hostile beasts approaching the host. Repeat, hostile beasts approaching the host.
Dani froze, his heart racing. His eyes darted around, but all he could see was the mesmerizing beauty of the land. "Hostile beasts?" he asked, his voice tinged with panic.
Before he could do anything else, Emma chuckled, her tone laced with mischief. "Ah, so they've noticed us already."
Tanis smirked, stretching her arms as if preparing for a fight. "Of course they did. We've entered their territory, after all."
Dani looked at them, confused. "Wait, you two knew this would happen? And you didn't think to warn me?"
Emma placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. "Relax, Dani. This is their way of welcoming outsiders."
"'Welcoming' doesn't sound very reassuring," Dani muttered, still on edge.
Tanis grinned, her sharp canines showing. "Don't worry, Dani. You've got us. Besides, this is going to be fun."
Before Dani could respond, the ground beneath them began to tremble. In the distance, a cloud of dust rose as several shadowy figures charged toward them. As they drew closer, their forms became clearer—massive beasts with glowing eyes, razor-sharp claws, and powerful builds.
Dani's instincts screamed at him to run, but Emma and Tanis stood firm, completely unfazed.
"Let them come," Tanis said, her voice calm yet filled with anticipation.
Emma nodded, her golden eyes glowing faintly. "Stay close to us, Dani. You'll see why this place is called the Lost Mythical Land of the Beasts."
Dani took a deep breath, his mind racing. He didn't know what was about to happen, but one thing was clear: this world was far more dangerous—and mysterious—than he had ever imagined.
