A Warning Delivered

The man's lips curved into a faint, elusive smile. Behind the lenses of his gold-rimmed glasses, his narrow eyes slightly narrowed, and his gaze collided mid-air with Selina's.

Selina: "…"

Her throat tightened, and she nearly choked, a wave of panic surging within her. Why is Logan here?! More importantly, how much did he hear?!

She swallowed hard, forcing herself to stay composed as she quickly stepped forward. Tentatively, she asked, "Mr. Reid, when did you arrive?"

Logan glanced at her lazily, his tone unhurried. "Just now."

Selina exhaled in relief. Good. He shouldn't have seen anything important.

"From the moment Clark Miss kicked that man, I saw everything," Logan added slowly, as if determined to make her embarrassment complete.
