The Battle of Gifts

Logan continued, "Miss Perry, if you don't move, I don't mind helping you out."

Vivian's face darkened, but she clung stubbornly to the chair, refusing to budge.

"Selina, stop being so jealous! I'm Logan's sister!"

Mr. Perry tried to smooth things over.

"Mother, Vivian just likes sticking close to Logan. It's not a big deal. Clark Miss can sit anywhere, can't she? Besides, everyone's already seated. There's no need to rearrange just for a junior."

"I said, get up!" Grandma Perry slammed her chopsticks down, her voice sharp.

"Don't think I don't know what you're up to!"

Vivian stiffened, her expression faltering. Meeting the old lady's icy gaze, she finally got up reluctantly and switched seats with Selina.

With Grandma Perry's authority, no one dared to cause trouble. The banquet proceeded quietly.
