Joe knew Logan wouldn't agree to that, but he still had to try.

 

Since there was no other choice, he settled for a lesser solution. "Since Selina is fine now and Angelica has already paid a price, how about Angelica apologizes, and we put this behind us?"

 

The "price" he referred to was Angelica's shattered wrist—though Joe didn't dare mention it outright.

 

Because if he did, how would they answer outsiders who questioned Logan's actions?

 

Would he say Angelica framed Selina, leading to Selina's kidnapping, and Logan retaliated by hurting Angelica?

 

That would completely destroy Angelica's reputation.

 

After making his suggestion, Joe still felt aggrieved on Angelica's behalf. To him, this wasn't even a big deal. Why did she need to apologize?
