At the library, Alvin was panting and sweating heavily. He just finished running the 10 rounds around the school. Although he used to exercise and collect branches on the hill, he was still sweating heavily. After all, it was a non-stop run around the school.
After a few moments, his breathing became slow and steady. Seeing that, Elias started his class. As this was the first class, Elias planned to teach some basic knowledge about the cloud.
"What do you know about cloud, Alvin?" Standing in front of the whiteboard, Elias asked as he wrote down the word 'cloud'.
"Cloud is a form of energy?" Alvin said. He wasn't so sure.
Actually, Alvin had examined his cloud during his free time. Initially, he thought that cloud was related to weather. So, he tried to make a rain out of it, but nothing happened.
Of course, he proceeded to try other uses of the cloud. Only when he tried to use his magic energy that he found out the cloud was related to his magic energy.
"Ya, you are right, it is the embodiment of the cloud energy of your body. How about the cultivation method?" Elias explained before he asked another question.
"Cultivation method is a way to strengthen the cloud?" Alvin said with a bit of doubt. He was not sure about it because he hadn't tried the Phoenix Rebirth Cultivation.
"In a way yes. Technically, the cultivation method is a way to store your cloud energy. As an analogy, you can store water in a bottle, bowl, or pot. How much the cloud energy you can store is depends on the container. Cloud cultivation is a way to improve your container and fill it up with water, which is the cloud energy." Elias explained.
"Oh, I see. I saw some of the clouds were a different shape, is it because of the cultivation method?"Alvin nodded his head and murmured.
"Yes, you are right. What do you know about spire." Elias said.
"I don't know." Alvin shook his head and said.
"Spire is a tall tower that spirals into the sky. There were some cloud monsters inside. By killing the monster inside, you can get their core and get your cloud spell." Elias explained
"Cloud spell. So, that is the reason I couldn't level up my cloud level?" Alvin asked
"Yes, exactly. When you reach level 10, level 20, and so on. You have to get a cloud spell so that you can proceed to the next rank." Elias said.
"Now, getting a cloud spell depends on what class you want to get in. Do you want to be knight, mage, or support?" Elias asked
Without waiting for Alvin's answer, Elias continued to say.
"Knight is split into attack knight and defense knight. Mage is split into attack mage and archery mage. Support is support. If you are confident with your cultivation, I suggest you to choose mage. If you are not confident about your cultivation, I suggest you choose support." Elias said.
"Mage, I want to be a mage," Alvin said.
"Ok. understand," Elias said with a calm voice, unconcerned about Alvin's choice.
"That is all for today's class. Meet me at the entrance tomorrow at 8 am. I will bring you to the spire for you to get your cloud spell." Elias said.
"Ok. Thank you, teacher." Alvin nodded his head and said. Then, he left the library.
Seeing Alvin was leaving the library, Elias gazed at Alvin. There was a slight touching expression on Elias's face as if he was thinking of something warm.
After Alvin left the library, Elias picked up his book and moved his gaze to the book.
...
It was around 6 pm. Indeed it was a long period of learning for Alvin. Alvin went for his dinner before going back to his room.
As he entered his room, he saw that Charles was doing cultivation on his bed. Charles was surrounded by a gold color light. There was cloud energy flowing to his body. Such a hardworking person. Alvin felt glad that Charles was a hardworking person because he himself also liked to dedicate all his time to cultivation.
Sensing Alvin was back, Charles didn't stop his cultivation. He wanted to continue his cultivation. Slowly, the gold light glowed brighter.
Seeing that, Alvin grinned and then sat on his bed, and started to read the Phoenix Rebirth Scroll. It was a considerably thick book. Phase one was a non-element phase, which means Alvin could practice the Phoenix Rebirth now.
After reading for an hour, Alvin started to truly believe what Mr Elias said. Based on the scroll, even though it was just 4 stars in the beginning, he could upgrade it in the future.
After fully understanding the Phoenix Rebirth, Alvin followed the method inside and began his cultivation.
Slowly Alvin was rearranging his cloud energy that matched the Phoenix Rebirth scroll. A red light was glowing around him.
Time passed rapidly. It was only until 6 am that Alvin finished his cultivation. Yes, he didn't sleep because cloud cultivation would help people to get enough energy. So, instead of sleeping, many cloud holders choose to do cultivation.
15 minutes later, Alvin noticed Charles finished his cultivation. There was a wide grin on Charles's face. It looked like Charles was refreshed and satisfied with his cultivation.
"Morning. Hardworking ya" Alvin greeted.
"Hehe. Ya, I have an enemy I want to revenge. I gotta be strong" Charles said.
"Enemy?" Alvin frowned and mumbled. He was curious about who is Charles's enemy. Why made an enemy at the age of 6?
"Haha. Anyway. Alvin, do you want to go for breakfast together?" Charles asked as he put his hand on his stomach. Apparently, he was hungry.
Alvin didn't ask more as he observed that Charles didn't want to talk more about the enemy. He was ok that everyone has their own secret. He had his own secret too.
"Sure. Let's go" Alvin said as he stood up from bed and went to brush his teeth.
Then, they left their room for breakfast.
