Taking off the robes from dead man's body, he threw it towards the woman.

The woman shrieked in fright but Tian Ye nonchalantly said, "Woman, carry that and follow me."

"Y-Yes…" The woman fearfully replied as she slowly stood up from her kneeling position and followed Tian Ye from behind, trembling at her every step.

As they walked, the woman would glance from time to time, noticing that Tian Ye had no intention of hurting her, she calmed down slightly.

Tian Ye, who felt her glances didn't think much of it and thought to himself, 'Zhao Feng and the others, and master.'

Thinking of them, he smiled, his eyes flickering slightly as some key words popped up in his mind, 'According to my knowledge of cultivation worlds, there should be something called the cycle of reincarnation. I panicked too much 10 years ago without really thinking about it clearly. As long as my strength becomes undeniable, when I can travel in-between worlds freely, the time when I'll meet them again, will come, no matter how many decades, centuries, millennia, or even more time passes.'

He kept chuckling along the way causing the woman to look at him in fear but also a bit confused.

After a while of walking, they reached a river and then ripped his tight fitting pants, saying calmly. "Woman, wash the blood off the clothes that I took from your assaulter whilst I take a bath, take it as the payment when I saved you earlier."

The woman looked at Tian Ye in surprise, "Yes?"

She didn't think that her, following Tian Ye, would be as simple as washing some robes for him.

'Wasn't he going to do something to me?' The woman thought in wonder.

Tian Ye looked at her from bottom to top to make a point before saying in displeasure, "You don't even look that pretty, did you think I'd make a move on you? You're awake so stop dreaming."

Hearing Tian Ye's words, the woman couldn't help but be angry in her mind, with her long silky black hair that reached till her waist, well-endowed figure, and beautiful face, how could she be happy hearing his words? 

She was considered one of the top beauties within the Yellow Leaf City but considering that Tian Ye had power beyond her understanding, she nodded her head respectfully and said, "Yes, Great Immortal."

Tian Ye was a little taken aback by her words, so he asked in interest as he took steps towards to river to submerge his body, "Great Immortal?"

With the woman letting her guard down, knowing that Tian Ye would neither harm her or touch her, she answered respectfully to his confusion, "Yes, Great Immortal. Every once in a while, maybe a year, a few years, or more, there would be Great Immortals such as yourself, who could appear within one moment, passing by the Yellow Leaf City."

"Yellow Leaf City? Tell me more." Tian Ye asked, his naked body fully submerged near the end of the river, his upper body visible but the woman answered without a hint of embarrassment as if she was used to it. "The Yellow Leaf City has a population of roughly 10,000 and has 4 great clans ruling at the top. The Zhao Clan, Fang Clan, Xiong Clan, and Duan Clan."

"Zhao Clan?" Tian Ye asked in interest, it might be a clan where Zhao Feng's lineage came from. As for the other clans, he had no recollection of hearing them but Duan Clan seemed particular familiar.

Besides the names of his friends and master, he didn't really take note of the names of other people because they weren't close enough for him to be reminded of a lot of their names, not even the sect leader was an exception. This was also one of the reasons why he calls other people by their title because he couldn't remember their names clearly.

The woman answered respectfully with a nod, "The Zhao Clan is the most powerful of the 4 clans having a Martial Grandmaster, unlike the other clans, even though numerous, only has Martial Masters."

"Martial Grandmaster? Martial Master? What the hell is that?" Tian Ye's mind was full of question marks, he didn't know what those realms meant, was the mortal world more backwards than he thought?

The woman momentarily paused before explaining, "If a Great Immortal doesn't know about the affairs of the mortal world, the martial arts realm is divided into 4, Martial Learners, Martial Experts, Martial Masters, and finally, the peak, Martial Grandmaster."

Tian Ye rubbed his chin with the thought, 'It should be Qi Refinement Realm, 1st-4th Layer, right?' He then turned towards the woman washing the clothes he would wear soon, 'Considering she calls me Great Immortal and how that man was without spiritual qi, the mortal world here is indeed more backwards than I thought despite being a xianxia world.'

'Also, 4th Layer huh? It's indeed much stronger than the 3rd Layer. That's when the physical body is starting to get enhanced rather than gaining more spiritual qi. No wonder the Zhao Clan is the most powerful one.'

Hearing the woman's words, he couldn't help but anticipate his arrival to this mortal city called Yellow Leaf City.

The moment he was reincarnated, he was already within the sect so he had no exposure to the geography of the near outer world to the sect let alone the other world itself.

He planned on cultivating peacefully for years before asking his master about it then going on a journey but that plan is now scrapped with their sect being obliterated unexpectedly within one moment.

However, although he couldn't ask his master about the outer world now, the plan was partially fulfilled with his cultivation of 9th Layer before going out to see the world.

With the woman still washing the blood off the robes that he was going to wear, he pointed his index finger towards the river and condensed spiritual qi on its tip, the size of a marble.

Soon, it burst flying from his index finger fell to the surface of the river.

Boom!

The woman couldn't help but feel shaken seeing Tian Ye's casual condensed spiritual qi, 'As expected of a Great Immortal, the power is so much greater than a Martial Arts Grandmaster.'

Tian Ye continued to point his index finger and…

Pew! Pew! Pew! Pew! Pew!

As if a child, he played in the river, splashing water all over the place with an overpowered water gun.

"Hahaha!" he laughed in happiness as he thought, 'Those several marble-like condensed spiritual qi combined didn't even consume 1% of my total spiritual qi. A 9th Layer, Qi Refinement Realm compared to the 4th Layer is really different!'

He then raised one of his index fingers again and thought as he condensed, 'Let's try letting the fire element within my fire spiritual qi activate instead of just using it like a neutral spiritual qi.'

Once again, he sent out several condensed spiritual qi, but this time, the water splashes were a few times stronger than before.

Whilst the woman, who's hands had stopped washing the robes, opened her mouth wide in shock of his power, he asked, "Woman, you said you have money before to that man who tried to force himself into you?"

The woman nodded and said solemnly, "Yes, I have a lot of savings over the years."

"How do you have a lot of savings? You're a servant, right? You're not even the slightest bit embarrassed about me taking off my clothes, if you were a young lady from a great family, you'd be sheltered and certainly won't be exposed to such things. Don't worry, I'm simply curious." Tian Ye continued as he looked over casually to the woman with his lifeless eyes in contrast to his lively expression from earlier.

The woman couldn't help but feel a slight chill all over her body, 'The Great Immortal can actually conclude such things from just a sentence I said earlier? How terrifying, it's like he's reading my past just on my words alone!'

Feeling the woman's fearful look, Tian Ye just waved his hand with a slight smile, "Forget it if you don't want to say."

The woman shook her head and replied, "It's okay, Great Immortal, It's not exactly a secret that I'm the illegitimate daughter of the Martial Arts Grandmaster from the Zhao Clan."

Tian Ye then blinked in surprise, he certainly didn't expect that the woman who was alone deep within the forest had such a great back ground so he couldn't help but look at her with weird look, "How could the daughter of a Martial Arts Grandmaster, the strongest within the entire city, have experience as a servant? Much less go out of the Yellow Leaf City without even a servant with her?"

The woman laughed bitterly, "My father doesn't care about me very much and only sends me treasures and money over time as if to just fulfill some kind of responsibility. The one who took care of me, is my father's wife who treated me as if I was an eyesore, thus, the servant training despite being my father's offspring. As for why I'm out of the city, it was after being abducted by that individual who tried to force himself into me. Although other people noticed me, they probably didn't want to get involved in something as big as the Zhao Clan."

"Well, that's a shitty father that you have and shitty people you have around you. What about your mother?"

"My mother… she died after giving birth to me…" The woman's tone turned softer and sadder as she said.

"Hm…" Tian Ye then said as he slapped the river water with a hand, splashing water all over the place, "Alright! I've decided! I'll help you!"

The woman was caught off-guard by Tian Ye's words, her eyes widened, "You'll help me?"

"That's right, I'll kill your father and your father's wife!" Tian Ye said with his nose raised up.

Meanwhile, the woman's lips twitched and shook her head, "I'm thankful for your good intentions, Great Immortal but although my father didn't raise me himself, he provided me with a status that I'm grateful for."

Tian Ye frowned slightly before tilting his head in confusion, "Then, just your father's wife?"
