The faint sound of static buzzed as a phone call connected. The voices of two men, shrouded in mystery but decidedly unprofessional in tone, filled the airwaves.
"Hey, who is this Anon guy, anyway?" the first man asked, his tone curious but tinged with confusion.
"The one with the water ability," the second man replied matter-of-factly.
The first man scoffed. "Water ability? That doesn't narrow it down. Half the people in our rank have water abilities!"
The second man sighed, already regretting this conversation. "The one who can dive into water and manipulate it like a weapon. You know, that guy!"
The first man's confusion only deepened. "Still not helping. Plenty of them can do that! Are you sure you're not just making stuff up again?"
The second man's voice grew louder, his frustration leaking through. "How are you this dense? He's the one who just took down that eldritch fetus thing in that forgotten town. Ring any bells?"
The first man paused for a moment, then replied, "Oh, him! Why didn't you say so earlier? You're terrible at giving descriptions." He smirk "No wonder you're still broke and living off ramen."
The second man snapped back, "WTF..At least I'm not single and hopeless like you. When was the last time you even talked to a girl?"
"Girls don't talk to broke guys, so I'm not sure why you're even bringing that up," the first man retorted, smugly satisfied with his comeback.
"What?!" The second man groaned. "I swear, talking to you is like arguing with a brick wall. No wonder you're always assigned to the grunt work."
"Grunt work?! I'm the one doing all the heavy lifting while you sit on your ass pretending to strategize!"
As the two continued their increasingly petty back-and-forth, a third voice joined the line, clearly exasperated.
"Are you two done embarrassing yourselves? The guy's name isn't even Anon. It's Aamon. You know, Aamon? Like the demon from folklore?"
There was a pause before the first man yelled, "AAMON?! Why didn't you just say that from the start, you idiot?! I've been asking about Aamon this whole time!"
The second man immediately went on the defensive. "Hey, don't blame me! His nickname is Anon. That's what everyone calls him!"
"Well, maybe if you didn't use stupid nicknames, we wouldn't have wasted so much time! What kind of professional uses a nickname instead of their actual name?"
"It's called being efficient! You wouldn't understand because you're too busy trying to sound smart while being completely useless!"
Meanwhile, the third man silently hung up the phone, deciding he'd had enough. "Idiots," he muttered under his breath, walking away from the chaos.
After few moment of insulting each other The first person's voice crackled over the phone as he continued speaking, his tone a mixture of casual detachment and grim resolution. "Here's what really happened in that town," he began, his words slow and deliberate, as though he was unraveling a mystery from long ago. "The people... they were just lost, one after another. Bodies piling up in the streets, strange deaths from accidents or bizarre phenomena. But it wasn't just that. There was a woman there... obsessed with giving birth to an Eldritch God."
The second person's curiosity piqued, but he remained silent, allowing the first person to continue. The first person's voice grew more serious, tinged with a sense of dread. "She had many children. None of them turned out like she wanted, though. They didn't have the power she was seeking. But every time one died, she kept trying again. It was a sick cycle."
A pause followed as the first person seemed to collect his thoughts. "And then there's Robinson Hulgo. He was sent there, His job was to investigate the town, figure out what was going on. But after a week, no word. He was gone." He let the weight of the information hang in the air for a moment before continuing. "But there's more to it than that. There's another hunter in the picture—Mary Blossom. She trap in that town for a year but mostly i dont know that she didn't make a contract with an Eldritch being, but she did make a contract with another missing hunter who's been gone for a year now."
The second person was quiet for a moment, piecing the story together. "So Mary was involved somehow... but in a different way. Interesting." There was a subtle shift in his tone, his attention sharpening. "And what about Aamon, or Anon, as you like to call him?"
The first person chuckled lightly. "Yeah, he's the one who's taken it up a notch. Right now, he's making a contract with Robinson's son, Mike Hulgo."
The second person's tone darkened. "Mike Hulgo... that kid's got some big shoes to fill if he's going down that path. We can't let this spiral out of control. We need to keep an eye on him, on Mary, and whatever else might be lurking in the shadows."
The first person gave a low sigh. "I know. But it's not just about keeping tabs anymore. It's getting out of hand." He paused, thinking deeply. "I'll handle it, but we'll need to keep the pressure on these eldritch things, too. They won't just sit idly by."
As the conversation started to wind down, the second person finally spoke again, this time with a mix of concern and finality. "Very well, keep tabs on the rest of the eldritch beasts running around, and make sure you're watching both Mary and Mike. We can't afford to lose control of this. Take care of yourself, Balor."
The first person's expression was unreadable as the name was spoken aloud, and there was a long, thoughtful pause before he replied with a simple, "Will do."
He lowered the phone and exhaled deeply, slipping the device back into his pocket. His hand instinctively reached for a baseball sitting in his other hand. With a grim smile, he looked up at the sky, his mind sharp with focus. "Time to get this over with."
He muttering "i'm a railgun" as he throw the baseball.
The sound of a baseball being thrown with incredible force filled the air. The ball shot forward with such speed that it seemed to defy the laws of physics. A giant eldritch beast—one of the many that had been causing trouble—stood in the distance. With a sickening thud, the baseball collided with its head, causing the creature's skull to explode in a fiery burst. The beast crumpled to the ground, its body falling into a grotesque heap, leaving behind nothing but a gaping hole in the sky above.
Balor watched the scene unfold, the aftermath of his strike echoing in the air like thunder. He bit his lip, momentarily regretting the level of force he'd used. "Okay, maybe a "i'm cannon" would've been enough," he muttered, his voice carrying a touch of humor despite the chaos.
The distant sounds of sirens and helicopters started to grow louder as people in the area began to notice the strange, unnatural shift in the sky. Balor stood there for a moment, his baseball in hand, taking in the view of the clear, ominous sky above him. This would be something they would remember, something that could change everything.
With a last look at the sky, he turned away, knowing that his job was far from over. The town's nightmare was just beginning. And now, there would be no turning back.

Breaking News Segment on Mysterious Town Incident: "The Silent Collapse"
Television Host (News Anchor):
"Good evening, and welcome to The World Tonight. We begin with a story that has captured the attention of the nation—and indeed, the world. A small, forgotten town has become the epicenter of a chilling mystery. Hundreds of dead bodies were discovered beneath the town's cracked earth, strange phenomena were reported, and rumors of paranormal activity are sweeping across social media. What truly happened in this town? Tonight, we delve into the theories, the facts, and the questions that remain unanswered."
Field Reporter:
"Thank you, Sandra. I'm here at the outskirts of the town, where the atmosphere is still heavy with shock and fear. Behind me, you can see the police cordons and investigators combing through what remains of the area. This town—once a quiet, almost forgotten place—has suddenly become the focus of a national investigation. The discovery of mass graves, the bizarre environmental changes, and reports of unexplainable events have left everyone asking the same question: what happened here?"
Police Spokesperson:
"We are working tirelessly to piece together the events that led to this tragedy. At this stage, we can confirm that hundreds of remains have been unearthed beneath the town's surface. While the condition of some of these remains suggests they've been there for decades, others are far more recent. The sheer number of bodies is staggering. We are pursuing all lines of inquiry, including foul play, environmental factors, and yes, even some of the more unusual claims being circulated online. However, I must emphasize that the investigation is ongoing, and we urge the public not to jump to conclusions."
Paranormal Investigator (YouTube):
"Alright, guys, let's break down the real story behind this town. First, you've got all these dead bodies—some say it's a cult, others say it's a cover-up by the government. But here's where it gets really freaky: people have reported seeing strange lights in the sky, hearing voices coming from the ground, and even seeing water move in unnatural ways. This town might've been a hotspot for paranormal activity for decades. My theory? It's connected to ley lines—powerful energy channels running beneath the earth. If you look at the map, the town sits right on an intersection of these lines. Coincidence? I think not."
Scientific Expert (Geologist):
"While the notion of ley lines might make for an interesting story, let's ground this discussion in science. The cracks in the earth and the unusual environmental changes could very well be attributed to seismic activity. This area is known to sit atop a fault line, and the sudden shifts could have unearthed buried remains. As for the so-called lights and voices, it's worth noting that gases released during seismic shifts, such as methane, can ignite and create strange lights. Auditory phenomena might be explained by the release of certain low-frequency sounds, which can create eerie effects on the human psyche."
Historian:
"This town's history is deeply troubling. Records indicate that during the early 1900s, there were several disappearances attributed to a reclusive woman who lived on the edge of town. Locals whispered that she practiced dark rituals, though there's no evidence to support these claims. However, census records show a significant decline in the town's population over the years, suggesting that something—whether social, economic, or otherwise—was driving people away. The mass graves could be linked to that period, or they could be part of a broader, more sinister pattern we're just now uncovering."
Social Media Commentary:
• User 1: "This is clearly a cover-up. The government knows what's going on and doesn't want us to know the truth. All those bodies? Come on. This has to be something supernatural."
• User 2: "I live two towns over, and my grandma used to say this place was cursed. She said people went there and never came back. Maybe she wasn't wrong after all."
• User 3: "Why isn't anyone talking about the possibility of a cult? The woman with all those children? Sounds like someone trying to create... I don't know... something unnatural."
Psychologist:
"It's important to consider the psychological impact of events like this. When confronted with something inexplicable, people often turn to superstition or conspiracy theories to make sense of the chaos. The concept of mass belief—where people's fears and imaginations feed off each other—can create a narrative that feels more real than the truth. However, that doesn't mean we should dismiss these claims outright. Instead, we need to investigate and separate fact from fiction."
Conspiracy Theorist:
"The timing of this discovery is suspicious. A town no one remembers, suddenly unearthed and full of mysteries? This screams government experiment to me. What if they were testing something here—like advanced weapons or psychological manipulation? And now that the experiment is over, they're trying to cover their tracks."
News Anchor (Conclusion):
"As the investigation continues, one thing is certain: this town has become a symbol of the unknown. Whether the answers lie in science, history, or something far more mysterious, it will take time to unravel this complex web of tragedy and intrigue. We will, of course, keep you updated as more details emerge. Until then, the mystery of the silent collapse remains unsolved."
