"Let's show them your runes, dove."
"Runes?" Rowan was practically vibrating with excitement.
"And how am I supposed to do that? Dad's are nearly invisible," Asuriel stared at Vaerion in shock. "And you know where the others are! I'm still in my uniform, and I can't just…"
Rowan grinned. "Okay, well, now I have to see."
Lysander looked mortified at her words. He asked apprehensively, unsure if he genuinely wanted the answer, "…Where are they?"
Vaerion stood from his chair so he could stand right behind her. She felt his warmth and shuddered at his presence in her space. His arm wrapped around her waist, and he hovered his hand over her navel. He gently tapped one of the lower buttons of her waistcoat.
"You can at least show them this one," the devil reasoned. "That's not so embarrassing, is it?"
Asuriel was stuck between a rock and a hard place. She looked at Rowan and Lysander, then up at Vaerion.
