Dangerous
John's heart pounded in his chest as the Mimic Abomination closed in, it let out eerie screech again that reverberating through the chamber. His mind raced. This is the first time he found a Beast that have 'high' on every attribute so he couldn't afford to be cautious, this thing mist be too strong and too fast. He needed to hit hard and fast, before it could give them harder times."Inky, Miki! attack with everything you've got!" John commanded.Inky the shadowy hound understood the urgency in John's tone. Without hesitation, he melted into the shadows using his Special Abbility, his dark form blending seamlessly with the dim light cast by the fungi around them. The air around Inky thickened, as his Dark Shroud enveloped him completely. He moved beneath the shadows, his eyes glowing faintly as he stalked toward the Mimic Abomination's rear, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.Meanwhile, Miki didn't hesitate. With a burst of raw agility, he launched himself forward, his large claws digging into the stone floor. He zigzagged across the chamber, following John's mental commands as they flashed through his mind.John could almost see Miki's thoughts. He will become as fast and fluid as possible like a perfect extension of his will.In a heartbeat, Miki leaped into the air with his claws outstretched, aiming for the Mimic's open maw.But the Mimic was faster than they anticipated. It actually had keeping track of Miki's movement from the start. With a sickening crack, the Mimic's enormous fist shot out from the side, intercepting Miki in midair. The rat Beast was sent flying like a ragdoll, crashing into the stone wall with a terrible thud. The force of the punch left Miki dazed, his fur singed and his body crumpling to the ground with a grunt of pain."Miki!" John shouted, but his voice was drowned out by the creature's laughter — the dark, unnatural giggle that seemed to echo from every corner of the chamber. But Inky wasn't deterred. Using his Dark Shroud to cloak his approach, he darted forward from behind, closing the distance between himself and the Mimic's exposed back.He was faster and quieter. His claws ready to tear into the flesh of the creature's twisted form. But the Mimic wasn't fooled by him either. It shifted its weight with startling speed, its chest head swiveling to track the movements of Inky who had thought himself concealed in the shadows. With a swift motion, the Mimic lashed out, one of its grotesque arms swinging wide. The fleshy limb collided with Inky's side, sending him hurtling across the chamber. He crashed into the stone wall with a thud, his shadowy form flickering briefly before he regained his stance, growling in frustration.John's eyes narrowed. He had underestimated the creature's awareness. Even with the Dark Shroud, Inky had been detected."Damn it," John muttered under his breath, his eyes shifting between his Beasts and the Mimic, which was now turning to face them with renewed aggression. He had never been in this stage before. Inky and Miki before had always managed to dominate their enemy. But the Mimic is different, even after they upgraded their stats using the Emberfruit, they still no match for the Mimic Abomination. What a terrible Beast it is.The Mimic let out weird cackle, its teeth gnashing violently, a sound that seemed to shake the walls. It wasn't just a Beast; it was a dangerous force that the Dungeon built to be teh biggest challenge for the adventurers who dare come here."Miki, get up!" John barked, his heart hammering. "Inky, circle around, don't give it a chance to recover!"Inky, his shadowy form flickering, shifted position, trying to remain unseen as he circled the Mimic.Meanwhile, Miki slowly stirred from where he had crashed, his body bruised but his spirit still intact. The rat Beast shook his head, trying to clear the disorientation. His eyes locked onto the Mimic, and John could sense Miki's focus sharpen. It wasn't over yet.Marik and Irene had watched the battle unfold with growing anxiety. The Mimic Abomination was a terrifying force. John's Beasts had proven their worth, but they were struggling against the creature's overwhelming strength and speed. If they didn't act soon, it could all go south. They couldn't afford to stand by anymore.Marik was the first to move. He gripped his small shield tightly, ready to intercept the Mimic's next strike. But then, the creature's long grotesque arms lashed out and with a terrible roar it swung a massive blow toward him.Marik's shield met the strike head-on, but the force was so immense that it almost felt as if the mountain itself had collided with him.The impact drove the air from his lungs, and with a grunt of surprise, he was sent flying backward, tumbling across the stone floor like a ragdoll. His shield flew from his grip, and he crashed into the wall with a sickening thud, the force of the blow leaving him gasping for air.Irene's eyes widened in alarm as Marik's body hit the wall, but she didn't hesitate. She could see Marik struggling to rise. The Mimic had no mercy in its eyes, and Irene wasn't about to let it do more than this.Irene sprinted forward, her sword gleaming. She weaving through the Mimic's hand attack, her mind focused on the creature's exposed sides. She swung her blade with all her might, aiming for the Mimic's side. The blade made contact but the Mimic's long arm shot out, swatting at Irene's sword with such force that she nearly lost her grip. She stumbled back, just barely avoiding being caught by the Mimic's grasping hand. But Irene wasn't finished. She spun with the grace of a seasoned fighter, rolling her body to avoid the Mimic's retaliatory swipe and with a fast motion, she slashed at the creature's stomach. This time, she didn't miss. Her sword sank deep into the Mimic's fleshy, grotesque stomach, leaving a deep gash that pulsed with a sickening light. The Mimic roared in pain, its body jerking in response. But to Irene's shock, the wound began to heal almost instantly, the flesh knitting back together with an unnatural speed."What the hell?" Irene muttered, her eyes widening in disbelief. The wound was already gone, leaving no trace of her attack.---
