★Who knows who★

~CHAPTER 62~

MICHAEL:)

"Father," I pinched the bridge of my nose, my eyes closing as I tried to persuade my old man to see things from my perspective.

"What did we discuss before?" I asked, some of my frustration leaking into my voice.

"You're throwing your life away, Michael," he boomed but with a hint of sadness in his tone.

I heard the sound of his hand slamming onto his desk. "You should be making a name for yourself, holding up the family legacy. Instead, you're wasting your time on frivolous pursuits and gallivanting around town with who-knows-who"

He had been lecturing me nonstop from the moment I picked up his call, his words dripping with disapproval and disappointment.

My father had always been a hard man to please, and I knew that he would never understand my desire to be free of those responsibilities for now.
