~CHAPTER 64~
"Please...please...don't come close, don't come here," My voice shook with fear as I begged. I was curled up on the floor, my body wracked with sobs.
Catching a glimpse of Michael as he ran over to me. "Katya," he whispered, dropping down to my cowering level.
His fingers grasped my shoulder gently, "What's wrong? Are you hurt?" he asked, holding me like I was his lifeline.
I wailed louder, my body shaking uncontrollably. Michael's eyes roamed all over my face with worry.
"I heard a gunshot...Katya, why are you on the floor crying?" his voice was raising up in alarm.
But I couldn't answer. I was too caught up in my own terror and michael seemed too oblivious to the danger lurking in the room, his eyes were fixed solely on me.
He didn't seem to notice the dead body of Frank, or Aria's muffled screams, or Romeo's sadistic smile as he blew out a stream of cigarette smoke.
