Plot Armor's on Vacation?

In a stadium packed with many students Lucien sat with Seles in the spectators seat.

There was still half an hour till his match started, so he was waiting.

He looked around him, the stadium was nearly full with students continuing to pour in.

"Why…. sniff… why did you do that, Lucien?" Seles said her voice was breaking due to her crying.

"You know Zephyr is strong..sniff …he…he—"

"It's alright, Seles, you know me, right?" Lucien said with a reassuring smile that made the hearts of some girls in the background flutter.

"I'm going to win, no matter the cost."

"But…but…he–"

"No buts, just trust me, will you?" Lucien said as he held her hand.

There was another reason for Lucien's confidence.

He was not a Novice anymore as he had stepped into Initiate Rank and if that's not all, he had also awakened another spell.
